Rains has been one of Fletcher’s most dependable players over the past couple of seasons. She brings scoring ability, toughness, and a high motor to the backcourt. She can handle the ball and relieve pressure, knock down perimeter shots, and attack the basket effectively. When she gets in rhythm, she’s capable of stringing together multiple buckets that shift momentum. More importantly, she’s a player her coach leans on in crunch time. As her handle continues to develop, her impact and trust level will only grow. She’s already proven to be a reliable contributor who shows up when it matters.

Brylee Rains Brylee Rains 5'8" | SG Fletcher | 2027 State FL showed tremendous growth during the Fall League, proving she’s more than just a spot-up three point shooter. Last year, she thrived alongside three other playmaking guards — finding open space and letting the three-ball fly. But with those guards gone, Rains has had to expand her role and handle the ball more frequently. She has made improvements in the handles department, especially when attacking the rim. She made some incredible moves to the basket and finished with a lot of craftiness during Fall League play. Her drives forced defenders to collapse, which in turn opened up even more opportunities for her and her teammates from beyond the arc. Rains knocked down 52 threes last season, and with her improved confidence as a creator, she’s poised to match that number this year with more step backs and threes off the dribble. Her evolution from pure shooter to a three-level threat was one of the biggest takeaways from the Fall League. She is poised for a big Junior season.

Brylee Rains Brylee Rains 5'8" | SG Fletcher | 2027 State FL impressed with her creativity at the rim. She attacked with purpose, using crafty jump stops and smart footwork to finish plays. Her ability to mix finesse with toughness made her an effective scorer and a constant threat when getting downhill. Rains is also a bonafide three point shooter. She knocked down a few from behind the arc, but on the game I covered, she showcased her craftiness and ability to get to the rim.

Brylee Rains Brylee Rains 5'8" | SG Fletcher | 2027 State FL is another under the radar guard on the First Coast of Florida who has the potential to move up in the rankings.   Rains knocked down 52 threes last season and averaged 12.2 points per game.    She lost key guards on her team who she was in total sync with.   Rains will likely spend more time ball handling which could expand her game on the play making side of things.    Make no doubt about it,  Rains will still be letting the three ball fly and is primed to continue her move up the rankings.

The bigger the moment, the more she is locked in. Rains can also get to the to rim and score the ball. Rains threat of shooting the three makes her deadly going to the rim. She is crafty with her finishes and can also pull up in the midrange area. Rains will be one of the main leaders on her team this upcoming season with the graduation of a few seniors. She reads the court well and is a playmaker who can pass the ball. But, make no doubt, she will continue to “Rain” threes and you will know her name this upcoming season.
