PGH Freshman Showcase: Danyle’s Top Performers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2028 Michigan class is loaded and we were so excited to see so many of them compete at our Freshman Showcase on August 25th, 2024. Our unique format included 5 hours of games split up into predetermined 3v3, 5v5, and pool play to end the event. Every participant will receive a write-up in our articles, which is something unique and special about Prep Girls Hoops showcases. She is a shifty guard who scored at all three levels on Sunday. She was putting on a shooting clinic by knocking down multiple shots behind the arc. She was dominant in the paint, using her length to her advantage for blocking shots and on the glass. She moves well without the ball, and her teammates found her when she was slashing. I have selected her as a top performer. Gabby plays with a high basketball IQ and consistently makes the right decisions when she has the ball. She excels as a passer in the open court and utilizes her speed to bypass defenders. Mayrese played hard on the defensive end of the floor and was always in the right spot to come away with steals that she took coast-to-coast numerous times. She showed off her athleticism by getting blocks on taller players. Emma consistently does all the little things to help her team succeed. She never takes a play off on either end of the floor and was constantly fighting for offensive rebounds on Sunday, creating extra scoring opportunities for her team. I've chosen her as a top performer. Jana moves well for her size and can step out to guard the perimeter. She impressed everyone throughout the day. She's an explosive athlete with the ability to elevate, making her a game-changer on both ends of the court. She scored at all three levels on Sunday. I am confident she will have a ranking by her name soon enough.
