PGH KY Freshman Showcase: Akeem’s Starting 5

So, saying someone is one of the top shooters in the state should not just be thrown around. But after what I saw today [player_tooltip player_id='785374' first='Addison' last='Yates'] could most definitely make a case. I watched her go off for at least 30 points along with 5 triples and it looked like another day in the office for Yates. You know a player can shoot when most of their makes hit nothing but the bottom of the net! The game comes easy to Ella and it does not take long to realize that she is the best player on the floor. She can fill it up from all 3-levels all while making players around her better with her ability to distribute the ball. I mean what can't she do? Just give her the ball and get out of the way! I witnessed her completely takeover a game today and she was firing on all cylinders. She finished with 20+ points and barely broke a sweat! She can legit get anywhere she wants; the best athlete I saw compete today hands down. Oh, and lets not forget her lockdown defense. She put the clamps on opposing ball handlers all day! She is a scoring machine and plays with extreme confidence. Her size, skill, and ability to be a shot maker and shot creator is what makes her so special. She is another player that you can just give the ball and let her got to work!
