My all-summer ball teams are a fun opportunity to reflect on players and share why I think they were the top performers by position that I saw in person. This is part two of the 2026s. Be sure to review part one. Parts one and two of the 2025s has also been released. Due to the number of talents I saw a forthcoming third and final 2026s article is forthcoming. As I mentioned before I am aware of more than 250 players. Just less than 150 are currently ranked. Part one encompassed point and shooting guards. This part two includes combo guards and small forwards.

[player_tooltip player_id='910362' first='Rylie' last='Edwards'], 5'11", CG, Blue Valley Northwest - Edwards had a summer. Once locked in she flat tore up opponents. A defender reached, she would be gone down the lane attacking the basket with authority. She scored it well with length and athleticism and showed three level scoring ability. While I wanted more consistency with laying wood to get defensive boards Edwards was one of the top offensive rebounding guards I saw all summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='881014' first='Joanna' last='Ross'], 5'7", CG, Wichita North - Athletic, fast, terrific hands and hops are just a few of her attributes I saw throughout the summer. She created her own shot using ball fakes and other moves, was a consistent steal threat and elevated well on shot blocks and jumpers. I really enjoyed watching her game every chance I got.

[player_tooltip player_id='910371' first='Natalie' last='Stirling'], 5'8", CG, Olathe Northwest - Stirling is an absolute lock to debut in the next round of rankings updates. She repeatedly showed the ability to score off the athletic take and the catch while on the move. Stirling was effective using fakes to create plays and was consistently strong in the half- and full-court. Fast, slender and athletic.

[player_tooltip player_id='719106' first='Cammi' last='Unruh'], 5'5", CG, Moundridge - Another integral piece of a rising Wildcats team Unruh, whether on the ball or denying passes, was very effective generating steals. With hustle and speed she often was involved in transition scores. Played with a lot of bounce. A consistent mid-range and perimeter scoring threat.

Small Forwards

[player_tooltip player_id='719101' first='Macayla' last='Askew'], 6'1", SF, Derby - All summer long Askew showed herself to be a match-up nightmare for defenses. Playing on the wing she showed good footwork to create looks on the drive facing up or with her back to the basket. She knocked down shots with range and jumped to the ball well on both ends of the glass. A complete, strong inside-out player with hops who will be a primary driver for the Panthers to make another deep run in the 6A state tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='536974' first='Jessica' last='Borders'], 5'11", SF, Olathe West - Borders is a terrific physical and fast talent. She strongly defended entry passes into the post and closed down opponents on the wing. Bigs who could not handle her quickness just flat were owned. Her ball skills, athleticism, hops and length made her an especially effective scorer around the hoop and behind the arc. After suffering a knee injury a month ago at best Owl fans will not see her back on the court until the post season. I am hoping for her to heal well and quickly in time for a state tournament run.

[player_tooltip player_id='634243' first='Arika' last='Feldman'], 6'1", SF, Little River - Feldman will lead a potent Redskin attack this fall. The team ran the table in 2024 before falling in the 1A Division I state title game. Feldman emerged as one of the top small forwards in the class regardless of classification and players in the classification. Long and fast with good ball skills she not only scores well at all three levels but defended well on the wing and around the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='544984' first='Avery' last='McCorry'], 5'10", SF/CG, Bishop Carroll - McCorry has quickly become one of the top talents in the class and has some observers talking power five school capable. Against strong teams she would bury multiple threes and generate steals to yield transition baskets. Smart and fast with strong handles, she took apart opponents on the defensive end with energy and fed her teammates for scores in transition and the half court. She will big factor in the Golden Eagles' drive to return to the 5A state tournament.
