Big Moves, Additions Mark 2025 Rankings Move Above 205 Prospects
Kansas' 2025 class rankings update dropped today. Movement has calmed down some from the past two updates that revealed many big upward moves and changes in the makeup of the top 10. Several players did make substantial advances following strong summer play but the update is best characterized by growth. Even with a bit of attrition, mostly due to giving up the game, the addition of 16 new players pushed the number of prospects included across the 200 mark.
As before I would like to thank fellow Kansas scouts Jeremy Deckard and Adrian Maloney for their contributions. PGH scouts from other states also picked up on Kansas talent and wrote about what they saw. A wide range of resources feed into rankings. We catch games in person and online; study highlights; read reports; and communicate with a wide range of people to distill information down to compile the extensive lists. Reports from outside scouting and media sources, coaches at a variety of levels, parents, fans and players are among the sources mined for footage and information. News, photos, video, reports and comments continue to be immensely helpful in informing and shaping the rankings. One thing to remember, players out due to injury or other personal reasons are not removed. Subscribers, select the link below to view the update.
