Lets take a look at Team 2 from this past weekend in Oklahoma Showcase. This team had great guard play to go along with some tall versatile forwards. Notes came from 5 on 5 and 3 on 3 in person or on video. I also searched for any social media just to possibly get another view. Fun squad to watch get up and down the court. If you feel like I did not see enough of your game tag me in those highlights or follow me at x @ caochjvick1 IG @ coach_jvick

Kalystah got off to a rough start in the 3 on3 3 play jamming her finger in the very first half of play. Showed toughness by tapping them together and continue to play. Scrappy guard that was not afraid to get in the mix with the post for offensive boards. Moved without the ball filling gaps but just looked like the tapped fingers kept her from having full control of the ball limiting what she could do.

In 5 on 5 Kalystah got hit for a loose ball and had to be checked out to make sure was okay. A tough kid that did not show any quit and for sure wanted to use the opportunity to compete

Azariah quick guard that is extremely fast in the open court. She continued to blow by any safety defense to score fast break points. Her teammates figured out that if I get out ahead on the break she will pass the ball up the floor for a layup. I really liked how in transition she saw the gap and attacked it. Exploded through the gap like a running back waiting for the hole to open up then explode through it.

A complete all around guard that has great handles, vision, quickness, and scoring. She looked like she was having fun playing the game. Check out other articles.

Brooklyn had a strong 3 on 3 performance showing great spacing, reading the defense and attacking the rim. Understood moving with out the ball drifting or lifting on the wing did not allow her defender could not help on ball drives. [player_tooltip player_id='913597' first='Azariah' last='Woodruff'] and [player_tooltip player_id='727813' first='Brooklyn' last='Miles'] made a great 1-2 combination for Team 2.
Amara showed two parts of her game as I went back and watched film. In 3 on 3 she was more of a low post player using her physical strength to back a player down and finish with a post move. In 5 on 5 I saw more of of a face up game. She consistently scored by taking her player off the dribble. Signature move was 2 dribble and then a drop spin. Going either right or left. Oh did I mention she also knocked down a 25ft jumper from outside/ Click below to read some more evaluations

Anna showed her versatility in 5 on 5 play as at times she was the combo guard on offense but was the shot blocker on defense. Ran the floor on fastbreaks filling the lanes with great hands to catch and finish the up the court pass. Nice shoot mechanics and a good lift on the mid range jumper. A 2028 that I am seeing for the first time in person and one that I will put on my 2028 watch list.

This is the first time I have seen Hadley play. Moved without the ball either relocating or cutting though the paint. Got quick on fastbreaks filling the wing where she knocked down couple of 3's in 5 on 5. On the ball defender that took on the assignment of guarding the other teams best ball handler. Nice player that does the little things to keep the offense moving.

Combo guard that can handle the ball but on Team 2 accepted the role more of a shooting guard. Handled the ball in the half court keeping the offense moving side to side. Scored on a nice step back creating space for he 3 pointer. Got out on breaks filling the opposite lane with hands ready to score several layups. A tough floater driving baseline scoring over the rotating help to avoid a block shot. Solid on the ball defender with quick hands getting several deflections.
