After back-to-back weekends of watching some of the best freshmen and sophomores in Minnesota strut their stuff at two Prep Girls Hoops showcase events, it was the juniors and seniors who had their turn in the spotlight this past Sunday. More than 75 prospects took to the floor at Jefferson High school in Bloomington. Tony Ragulen, Ally McGinnis and I have been doing individual evaluations of the top performers on each of the eight teams this week. Here, in our final installment from the Expo, are the best of Team 6.

The [program_tooltip program_id='712352' first='Air' last='Minnesota'] guard made a big impact on Sunday, giving one of the best showings we saw throughout the day. Recently named as an honorable mention among our top 10 prospects in Southeastern Minnesota, there was nothing surprising about Storhoff's performance. From the tip-off the 5'7 guard took control of the court showing off some of her exquisite guard skills in 3 x 3 play. From her oppressive defense to the numerous circus shots she made around the rim, Jensyn gave us much to take notice of. She displayed some superior athleticism later in the day, using her quick lateral movement to shut down multiple ball handlers. One of the highlights of the day was a play where Storhoff sagged off on her player to open up the passing lane and elevated high into the air to steal the ball when it came her way. She finished things off with a bucket on the fast break.

With one of the more dynamic performances of the day, the [program_tooltip program_id='712722' first='North' last='Tartan'] Elite guard brought her A game to the showcase. All cylinders were finiring on the offensive end for the 5'7 guard. Whether it was a fast break play, knocking down threes, or one of various finishes around the rim, Marissa was incredibly productive all day long. Putting the ball through the hoop is not unfamiliar to Tusler, though. In her sophomore season at West Lutheran, she averaged 21 points per game and smashed the school's single season scoring record of 502 points with 587. It will be hard to top her sophomore season, but she appears to be up to the task. In addition to the offensive production, Marissa demonstrated her strength as a teammate on Sunday, displaying a willingness to be vocal on the floor, and picking up her teammates when they were down.

Versatility was the word of the day for Lakeville North's [player_tooltip player_id='502552' first='Sophia' last='Perry'] at Sunday's showcase. The 5'10 guard possesses length, athleticism, and an incredibly well-rounded game. She can run the offense at the point guard position or play off the ball. She has the size and speed required to guard multiple positions. Not to mention, the basketball IQ required for a do-it-all, plug-and-play style of player. At the Expo 250 Sophia displayed her ability to score at multiple levels, physicality on both ends of the floor, and a high-revving motor. With several of Lakeville North's key pieces moving on to collegiate basketball, there is an opportunity for Perry to step into a much larger role with the Panthers this season.

Several scouts and coaches alike took note of Pahl's performance on Sunday. The 6'-'1 post has a big frame and a ton of strength, as well as no fear when it comes to physicality. We've seen her extend out to the perimeter more in recent months, improving her outside shot over the course of the summer. Amaya showcased her ability to attack the basket on Sunday, splitting through three defenders on one particular possession. Also noteworthy was Pahl's ability to set quality screens, an integral skill for bigs looking to play at the next level. Pahl's understanding of the game and on-court decision making is improving with time. With big enhancements to her skills, leadership, and overall confidence, this season could prove to be a breakout year for the Lakeville South junior.

The PGH Expo was somewhat of a debut performance for Brandon-Evansville's [player_tooltip player_id='1005196' first='Emilia' last='Elmer'], who succeeded in impressing our scouts in the showcase setting. Mia's game is not flashy, but when you watch closely you find that she does nearly everything right. Her screens are well-timed and well-set, she moves nicely off the ball, has an understanding of spacing, and her shot release is smooth and technically sound. The [program_tooltip program_id='712722' first='North' last='Tartan'] West guard does not rush when under pressure and consistently displayed good decision making all day long. In her sophomore season at Brandon-Evansville, she averaged double-digit scoring in the handful of games we could find. There are big shoes to fill at B-E following the graduation of leading-scorer Kylee Dingwall, who is now in her freshman season at UM-Morris. Elmer and freshman guard [player_tooltip player_id='992401' first='Drea' last='Fernholz'] appear to be up to the task.
