PGH Oklahoma Expo : Team 4 Evaluations

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Really enjoyed watching this team play. While the Freshman Expo had some terrific up and comers, you could just tell you had more experienced players this weekend. Good on ball defender. Definitely the type of point guard you would want in an event like this. Pushes the ball, controls the pace. Has a nice stop and pop from the elbow, just needs to make sure there isn't a 6-footer a little closer than she assumed. When she has room it's an affective part of her game. Good entry passes, once she figured out which screeners/matchups she liked she was savvy enough to call for those screens. Excellent fakes and live ball moves, able to lift and get a mid-range shot whenever she wanted. Good shooter off the dribble. Tremendous body control on finishes inside. Best 3-on-3 player from what I've seen from the past two events. Just has too many dimensions to her game to be guarded effectively. Forced some shots (definitely had some of the best players at camp guarding her) but ended up finding her stroke by the end of the day. Unorthodox shot, but she does a ton of things really well. Made an awesome back door pass to start the 5-on-5 day, throws great drop off passes for post players. Good hustle plays on defense, can even hold her own on post ups. Cuts at an elite level, changes direction very well. I remember talking to Coach Vick this weekend about how some of these hyper quick guards are relentless drivers, but they have too much of a one-track mind. Kadence (as well as [player_tooltip player_id='315200' first='Preslee' last='Hartsock']) impressed me with how they are able to drive at that speed and be able to make the correct play every time. Had some nice putbacks. Strong guard/quick forward. Has a nice arsenal of step back shots, throws nice bullet passes. She rebounds like a post player but has nice show and go moves like a guard. Athletic, very good passer. Spot up shooter. Blocks out well. Good roller, with good pick and roll instincts in general. Didn't finish inside at a high clip on Saturday, looked more comfortable around the arc. Runs the floor and gets to corners well. Hannah was one of the more impressive players of the day. Attacks hard, posts up well. Amazing shoulder fakes. Will step outside if needed, scores on put backs. Plays hard but picks her spots so well. Would love to show my post players some clips of Hannah's game. Knows exactly when she needs to get in deep post position. While the newly assembled teams weren't exactly running inbounds plays, the most dangerous play of the day was anytime that Hannah's team had the ball out on the baseline.
