Sandy’s Spiel Sunday Fall League: Week 4 Standouts

Battling Alexander's [player_tooltip player_id='778317' first='Nimah' last='Ibidunni'] inside, Wortmann held her own and was able to influence the game on both ends of the floor. Hailey altered shots and picked up steals, but her versatility on offense is what stood out most. She scored on a drive across the lane with a floater and showcased the ability to knockdown shots from the mid-range, all while still powering her way to buckets in the paint. Bensman was in attack mode from the opening tip, getting downhill while drawing fouls. Abbey has an elite nose for the ball, quicker than all others to loose balls. Furgess is an excellent shooter, especially from deep.  She shoots over top of high ball screens from well beyond the arc. Devin can beat defenders to the hoop and has the toughness to finish through contact with both hands. At 5-foot-8, Epps plays bigger than her size. She's extremely physical whether it be boxing out or attacking the basket.
