Saturday, Prep Girls Hoops Indiana held its first ever Sophomore ID Camp to help identify and showcase several of the state's top Sophomores. With 84 prospects from the 2027 class in attendance, this provided an opportunity to see them compete head-to-head, as well as together, in a combination of 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 games. The event was loaded with talent, making it difficult to limit the strong play to just a handful of players, so I wanted to circle back and discuss everyone from Teams 5 & 6. There will be additional articles highlighting Teams 7-10 over the next couple of days.

#35 [player_tooltip player_id='911978' first='Alivia' last='Dawson'], 5-8 CG, Penn H.S. - [see her review here]

#51 [player_tooltip player_id='743640' first='Hailey' last='Conder'], 5-4 CG, South Central H.S. (Elizabeth) - Hailey is a nice little guard who plays with quickness. She actually seemed longer and quicker than I remember from July. She is a very good perimeter shooter, but she handled it more than I'm used to, as well.

#456 [player_tooltip player_id='989375' first='Mayzon' last='Win'], 5-2 PG, New Haven H.S. - [see her review here]

#469 [player_tooltip player_id='881449' first='Kierstyn' last='Earnhart'], 5-6 CG, Brownsburg H.S. - Kierstyn had a big Summer for her grassroots team, and she continues to grow her game. She has nice balance skillfully, she can shoot/score, or she can handle and run offense. I also like her motor for the game.

#600 [player_tooltip player_id='992544' first='Lilly' last='Harrier'], 5-5 SG, Center Grove H.S. - Lilly is a long & wiry guard who could use some strength and time to finish growing. But she is what I would call a "typical" Center Grove kid. She understands how to play, she works hard, and she can shoot it.

#621 [player_tooltip player_id='992534' first='Hayden' last='O'Connor'], 5-7 SG, Ben Davis H.S. - I got the chance to first see Hayden in July, and she continues to be a nice, tough-nosed, physical guard. She plays with a motor, she has a balanced, versatile skillset, and she's a solid all-around athlete.

#702 [player_tooltip player_id='992530' first='Eden' last='Nash'], 5-7 SG, Norwell H.S. - Norwell has a nice crop of younger prospects, but this was my first time seeing Eden. She strikes me as a "typical" Norwell kid. She has length, fluid athleticism, she plays hard, she's versatile skillfully, and she has a solid understanding of the game.

Team #6:

#59 [player_tooltip player_id='751090' first='Laila' last='Scott-Knox'], 5-2 PG, North Central H.S. (Indianapolis) - Laila is a very strong, compact, tough-nosed, and physical point guard prospect. She is a nice North/South athlete who can get defenders on her hip and finish through contact. She has a little touch outside, but she's more of a creator/penetrator.

#77 [player_tooltip player_id='751070' first='Izzy' last='Like'], 5-5 CG, Evansville Mater Dei H.S. - Izzy is a solid all-around athlete with nice length. She showed the ability to play on or off the ball Saturday, as she can handle and run offense or knock down an open jumper. As she plays with more urgency, look for her to be more productive.

#448 [player_tooltip player_id='992541' first='Kaylie' last='Harmon'], 5-7 CG, Columbus North H.S. - [see her review here]

#457 [player_tooltip player_id='751119' first='Satyra' last='Scott'], 5-3 CG, Kokomo H.S. - Kokomo has several nice guards right now, and Satyra adds to that mix. She has an athletic frame, some length, and she plays low and compact. She has a bit of a lower shot-pocket, but she is an accurate shooter with some range when set.

#470 [player_tooltip player_id='751055' first='Ellie' last='Oliver'], 6-1 PF, Indian Creek H.S. - [see her review here]

#482 [player_tooltip player_id='908500' first='Cayleigh' last='Goheen'], 6-0 C, Warsaw Community H.S. - [see her review here]

#496 [player_tooltip player_id='992540' first='Jordynn' last='Blann'], 5-2 PG, Bedford North Lawrence H.S. - 5-2 might be a little generous for Jordynn, but she is a nonstop Energizer Bunny out there. She has really nice speed & quickness, she is always around the ball trying to make plays, no matter which end of the floor, and she has a good hoops IQ.

#500 [player_tooltip player_id='952497' first='Haley' last='Williamson'], 5-5 PG, Norwell H.S. - Haley is very strong for her size, she plays compact, and she does a nice job of taking care of the basketball. She has some touch outside, but she's very good managing an offense and finding open teammates.
