She is a 3 level scorer and has a mid-range pull-up jumper that is pure and unteachable. She plays bigger than her size and missed shots or any other adversity don't get to her. She is relentless in the pursuit of winning games and competing. She is the type of hooper that will dive after every loose ball, takes charges, rebounds, and loves contact. She is a knock down 3 point shooter and doesn't back down from anything. She attacks the rim with aggression and understands how to make the extra pass. Has a quick twitch on both ends and has a huge wingspan to go along with her 5'11" height. She has a smooth stroke from the 3pt line and a quick release. Sometimes she is a little too unselfish and is a great passer. She was at every practice, workout, and tournament after that showing how much of a hard-nosed individual she is that understands what hard work is. She joined the team in late June after a few injuries were sustained. She didn't know our plays but it didn't matter as she is a pure PLAYMAKER from a small town. Her athleticism puts her in great spots and can bail her out of bad situations as well. She has a knack for scoring and making plays. She has huge hands an wingspan and a game that speaks volumes. She found her passion and love for basketball and will be a college hooper. The girls trusted each other, trusted the program, and trusted their parents. Injuries haunted us but we overcame adversity by embracing the next one up mentality. A few things this group improved on were togetherness, ball movement, and toughness. Our top shooter this summer was [player_tooltip player_id='802006' first='Ruby' last='Moore']. She is a 3 level scorer and a great athlete who has a tempo and pace unlike anyone I have coached. She understands how to get others involved , but understands she is the best playmaker on the court at anytime. Karli Bosma was our best rebounder. She is gritty and tough and she just has a sense of where her shooters will miss. She plays and rebounds bigger than she is. Our best defensive player was Karli Bosma. Her soccer background mixed with toughness and leadership allows her to single handedly change the game by her presence on the defensive end. She's a true warrior. This team is gritty and showed great overall growth and maturity. This season was filled with adversity from roster changes to injuries. We trusted the highs and lows and we focused on process oriented rather than result oriented. If you can't play hard and communicate you simply can't play.
