TNs Best of the Best: '25 Posts/Stretch Bigs (Part 3)

Gannon, a D1 caliber post that has committed to Souther Indiana, makes her presence know in every gym she walks into. Defensively, her size alone impacts the game. She's an weakside defender with a big vocal presence. Her presence deters as more shots than she blocks (which is just as impactful but not noticed as much). She's a high level rebounder that knows how to outlet quickly into transition. Offensively, she knows how to use her shoulders to initiate contact and power through a defenders chest. She has soft touch around the rim and a nice baby hook. She'll be the interior force for a very good Coffee County team this year.     [player_tooltip player_id='810482' first='Camden' last='Ward'] is old-school tough. She's a D1 caliber forward that averaged nearly 18 points and 8 rebounds last season for a very good Stewart's Creek team. She does most of her damage around the rim, but she's a matchup nightmare in getting to her spots (and just so you know...she's going to get to her spots). If defenses put a tradition big on her, she'll catch on the perimeter facing the rim and test the defenders lateral movement. Put a smaller defender on her and she's comfortable catching with her back to the basket. Underrated passer. Makes a really tough tandem in the paint with [player_tooltip player_id='409016' first='Jayda' last='Bernard'] '25.     [player_tooltip player_id='409073' first='Chloe' last='Heath'] is very good. The Carson Newman signee has improved year and year, and has turned herself into an excellent stretch four. She's a legit 3 point threat now (I was super impressed with her exposure season) which changes the game for her team. Defenses MUST respect her from the perimeter which opens up gaps around the floor. And, she still has the capability to post up a small and power through her to finish. High level defender and rebounder. Makes an incredibly tough tandem with [player_tooltip player_id='810476' first='Carsyn' last='Swaney'].     Reeder was terrific last season for Pickett County, and then turned in a great summer for [program_tooltip program_id='713260' first='ETA' last='Thunder'] '25. She has a strong frame that can battle inside, but looks incredibly comfortable as a stretch big. Soft hands, nice vision, can hit 3s. She's an underrated passer. High efficacy scorer in the paint. High level rebounder. Active defender. She's still uncommitted and sitting on a bunch of offers. She'll have a huge senior year for the defending state champs.     Wade is a big that has continued to improve year after year. She's become an impactful defender. She uses her length well as a weak side shot contested. She's an active rebounder. Underrated passer. Operates mainly on the perimeter where she doesn't force anything. Really smart player that is a great off ball cutter, and knows how to make her presence felt without having the ball in her hands. I like her upside for South Doyle heading into her senior year.     The Tusculum commit put together a very good summer for [program_tooltip program_id='713260' first='ETA' last='Thunder'] '25 (Smith) and watched a stock rise quickly. Offensively, you know what you're getting: a highly skilled stretch that can really hurt a defense from three. Has made great strides from a defensive and rebounding standpoint--and that's what Tusculum noticed no doubt. Everyone wants to score, and she can, but not all players want to defend.
