TN's Best of the Best Series: '25 Wing

Last year at this time, I knew who [player_tooltip player_id='631091' first='Amaya' last='Redd'] was, and I thought she was a very good athletic with a pretty good skill set. Fast forward a year, and she is, without a doubt, a very good athlete with a VERY GOOD skill set. Her stock has risen as much as any player I know of over the past year as she's sitting on a bunch of D1 offers.   I really like how "The Train" plays. She gets down hill in a hurry, and if she gets her shoulders past the defender's shoulders, you're done. She will make the right read. She a fantastic finisher, with a strong frame, and a isn't afraid to initiate contact. She's also a high level passer on the move in tight spaces. She's looking to lead Knox Catholic to another state championship.     [player_tooltip player_id='810612' first='Mary' last='Elizabeth Fox'] is a stud. She is simply a winner that gives what her team needs. She's developed her three point shot, and is now a highly skilled 3 level scorer. She's incredibly crafty around the rim. Knows how to use her frame well, and isn't afraid of contact. Defensively she plays with grit, and her combination of motor, athleticism and length make her a high level rebounder for her position. She leads a loaded Page team with aspirations of playing in the Glass House.     [player_tooltip player_id='631094' first='Ellie' last='Butler'] can straight up score the ball. I've often said, there is nothing harder to do in basketball than to score, especially when the opposing defense's game plan is based around stopping you. She doesn't rely on supreme athleticism but instead an incredibly high skill set. She hits shots all of the floor, and many at a high degree of difficulty. Off balance, or contested--she has a chance of making it. She's also a top tier rebounder for her position.     Madyson Elliot is a D1 wing that is a big time player on both ends. Offensively, she's long, athletic and shifty. Constantly puts pressure on the rim, attacks gaps, and draws help defenders. High level finisher with either hand. Defensively, she's an aggressive on-ball defender that creates havoc. Plays with active hands, and creates chaos with deflections and causing 50/50 balls. Her length is also a tremendous asset as a shot blocker. Is switchable and can guard 1-4. Her defensive versatile is what makes her potential collegiate star.     The Cincy commit is bonafide shot maker. She's lighting quick, has elite changes in speed and direction, and an incredibly tight handle. Three level scorer that is capable of hitting shots at a high degree of difficulty. Very fluid shot of the dribble in the mid-range makes her potential really high as a scorer. Solid catch and shoot from three. Creative finisher with either hand at the rim. Very good on the ball defender with active hands. Takes pride on the defensive end.     Ware is tremendous. Plays her role well at Bradley Central (where her stats are certainly deflated as she shares the floor with 3 other D1 players). Played great basketball on the EYBL circuit this year, and where she continues to prove that her outside game has improved dramatically over the years. When she plays on teams with a more wide-open system, and gaps to attack, she seems to flourish. Excellent finisher at the rim. High level rebounder for her position. Defends multiple positions in switching schemes. Played incredibly basketball in the state tournament.
