Welcome to the show ladies! Where your hard work pays off big time at this level. It's not going to be easy, I will say that. You as well as many others are out jostling for the same thing. You have trophies to chase, accolades to earn, scholarship opportunities to obtain, and of course doing all this while being a student-athlete first and getting good grades. No it's not easy, but it's worth it.

This 2028 class is deep and special. Tons of girls will be thrown into the fire early and play significant roles for their ball clubs. A couple (if they are in private school) have been competing since the 8th grade. Others will step into the limelight and it's full go. I will say this though, this class may not have the big names like previous ones, but they are well equipped to get the job done. Over the course of the year, we will be revealing this 2028 class. Some were discovered last year in middle school, while others were seen on the travel ball circuit. Just know that this class is nice and they are going to be special.

As we dive into the 2028 class, we wanted to introduce to the PGH Tennessee families some young ladies who will be hooping on hardwoods across the state for the next four years. These kids may come in very green, but when it's all said and done, please note that these young ladies put in the work and grinded for everything they earned. Once the season tips off, you will see some of these young pups being difference makers for their ball clubs for sure.

[player_tooltip player_id='1155021' first='MiMi' last='Lee'] (5'7/Fr./PG/ Red Bank)- Shifty guard who is a tough two way player. This kid is a go-getter who has really good reactionary skills. Offensively, she can pull it from the arc, but if she puts that ball on the floor, good luck stopping her. She can finish against contact or unleash a nice little mid range game. Defensively, she is going to sit down and guard. Great in trapping situations, plays great help side D, rebounds, gets steals, ect. This kid is going to be tough down the stretch and will be a huge difference maker for years to come.

[player_tooltip player_id='776113' first='Ella' last='Johnson'] (5'7/Fr./CG/ FRA)- Solid kid who has handles and can shoot the lights out. She can attack down hill, but create her own shot and step back for the 3. Has great court vision where she hits her teammates in a timely manner. She's a tough competitor and will go at it on both ends of the floor. Yes she is a multi-level scoring threat, but she has a knack for being around the ball. Rebounds, steals, and assists, she's going to check all statistical boxes. Solid kid who will continue to grow and be a force to be reckoned with for years to come.

Layla Hall (6'0/Fr./G/ Blackman)- Big guard who is super tough. Dynamic scoring threat, this kid is one of the hottest prospects in the state. She can score it on all three levels, but it's her ability to create multiple possessions that sets her apart from others. She has a motor on her. She's a solid two-way player who uses her size to her advantage. Offensively, she is golden, getting the shots she wants, hitting open teammates with ease. Defensively, she's a problem, her length creates chaos and makes it hard for opponents to operate. A tremendous talent who will continue to get better as she ascends towards bigger heights.

[player_tooltip player_id='1155024' first='Blair' last='Slayden'] (5'8/Fr./G/ Brentwood Academy)- Little known prospect who is going to shine this upcoming year. A multi-level scoring threat who is a heady ball player. She can shoot it from the arc or be aggressive and take it to the hoop. Has a nice mid-range game, but if someone rotates over in help, she's very instinctive and will drop it down low. This kid's handles have gotten better and it shows as she slices through gaps on the way to the basket. She's tough on the defensive end too. Getting steals, deflections, and taking chargers. A solid all around player who will continue to get better.

[player_tooltip player_id='1155034' first='Naomi' last='Crawley'] (5'9/Fr./G/ Ensworth)- Dynamic scoring threat who can play on or off the ball. She can pull it from deep or attack down hill and finish at the rim. Great in transition where she can push the tempo and hit her teammates in stride for an easy lay. One of the things I love about her is her pull up game. She isn't afraid to let that thing go in transition. This kid is hungry and she doesn't rest on the defensive end. She's after it the full length of the game. Look for this kid to continue to grow and be tough to deal with for years to come.
