<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As we inch closer to the start of the 2024-25 season for girl's high school basketball, the excitement level skyrockets. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>That said, let's examine the squads with multiple players on their roster that impact the game and contribute to winning basketball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:separator --> <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" /> <!-- /wp:separator --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Sandia Matadors</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='391103' first='Sydney' last='Benally'], [player_tooltip player_id='391104' first='Hope' last='Giddings'], [player_tooltip player_id='391109' first='Audriana' last='Wright'] &amp; [player_tooltip player_id='1068188' first='Kaiyah' last='Benally'].</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Together, they accounted for 50.0 points, 17.0 rebounds, 10.8 assists and 10.3 steals per game this past season which culminated in a Championship at the 5A level. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='391103' first='Sydney' last='Benally'] -- the reigning Gatorade Player of the Year -- is an explosive point-guard that can take takeover games and fill the stat-sheet. Giddings is a floor-spacing slasher and reliable second option who notched her 1,000 point as a junior (1,134 PTS). Wright is a versatile forward and 'glue-player' that handles multiple assignments and matchups. This past season, Wright set career highs in steals and blocks per game. Last but not least, is emerging star [player_tooltip player_id='1068188' first='Kaiyah' last='Benally'] who was a lightning spark off the bench a season ago. Thus far, the 2028 prospect has six NCAA Division I offers with three coming from the <em>Mountain West Conference (MWC)</em>.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:table --> <figure class="wp-block-table"><table class="has-fixed-layout"><tbody><tr><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center"><strong>Player</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center"><strong>PPG</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center"><strong>RPG</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center"><strong>APG</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center"><strong>SPG</strong></td></tr><tr><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">S. Hargrove is a fundamentally sound playmaking shot-creator that can also stretch the floor. Clay is a physical two-way playmaker whose at her best when attacking the cup and getting to the charity stripe. Additionally, the Eagles have a lockdown defender in Cunningham that happens to also be a viable threat offensively. Listed at 6'0", Cunningham can shoot over smaller defenders and on the flip side, can alter/block shots. Lastly, a sharpshooter in Mojica who is the Eagles all-time leader in 3PM! Mojica has great mechanics, excellent range and is deadly in catch &amp; shoot situations.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:separator --> <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" /> <!-- /wp:separator --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Tucumcari Rattlers </h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='391105' first='Caylee' last='Benavidez'], [player_tooltip player_id='391114' first='July' last='Lafferty'] &amp; [player_tooltip player_id='648205' first='Kyla' last='Lopez']</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The trio combined for 43.1 points, 22.2 rebounds, 10.0 assists and 12.2 steals per game during the 2023-24 season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>While Benavidez, Lafferty and Lopez were double-figure scorers, it is on the defensive end of the floor where they shine. Each plays with great intensity that leads to multiple steals and stops. They jump passing lanes and are always in good position to create transition opportunities. Moreover, all three are solid on-ball defenders that are disciplined.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:table --> <figure class="wp-block-table"><table class="has-fixed-layout"><tbody><tr><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center"><strong>Player</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center"><strong>PPG</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center"><strong>RPG</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center"><strong>APG</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center"><strong>SPG</strong></td></tr><tr><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Benavidez</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">16.1</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">7.6</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">4.6</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">3.5</td></tr><tr><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Lafferty</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">13.4</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">8.0</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">3.7</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">5.0</td></tr><tr><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Lopez</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">13.6</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">6.6</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">1.7</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">3.7</td></tr></tbody></table><figcaption class="wp-element-caption">2023-24 Statistics</figcaption></figure> <!-- /wp:table --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>*Statistics via MaxPreps*</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Coupon Code</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Enter code at checkout and receive $10 off your registration!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Code:&nbsp;<strong><em>MartinezPGH2024</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
