Bell’s All-Showcase Third Team

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The PGH Michigan Expo took flight on Saturday, September 28th, featuring 10 teams competing in multiple games throughout the day. My coverage primarily focused on prospects competing for Teams 3, 4, 6, 8, and 10 at the event. She moved to open space off the ball, keeping her body squared to the rim. Grace worked hard to front the low post and box out for rebounds. Her efficiency hitting 3s from the wing gave her team an offensive advantage at the event. She brought the ball up under pressure from a pesky defender and used a combination of crossovers, behind-the-back snaps, between-the-legs, and jabs to win the matchup: then Leah finished the contested layup off two feet. Leah used her length and defensive effort to generate stops for her team. Alix caught fire from beyond the arc and contributed many key 3s for her team. She crashed the boards to create extra scoring opportunities on the offensive end and verbally communicated with her teammates on the court. She came into the gym determined and that aggressiveness showed on the court. Breanna drove by defenders on her takes to the basket, showed her range to hit 3s, and stole the ball away on defense. She demonstrated her shooting range from beyond the arc, downhill scoring ability, passing vision, and defensive pressure. She aggressively pursued offensive rebounds, blew by defenders off the dribble, converted tough layups at the rim, and knocked down 3-point shots. Alexys used great defensive positioning and lateral movement to contain ball-handlers, creating steals.
