At Messmer, Weaver had the greenest of green lights in the state and took advantage of that. Weaver was among the leading scorers in the state, and over the summer, you could see the tools she was working with. Weaver's a quick kid, understands her spots, and can create off the dribble. In time, she'll start to put everything together, and she'll become a more consistent offensive kid, but she'll be a volume scorer in her time at Messmer because that gives her team its best chance to win games over the next three seasons.

One of the kids who's developed the most in the past year is [player_tooltip player_id='1039261' first='Sophia' last='Remiker']. She split time on varsity and JV in her first season at Ashwaubenon, but she caught some people's attention this past summer, including myself. Not many 6'0 wings are as versatile as Remiker. She has a perimeter game, the physicality to play around the basket, and the ability to create off the dribble. Remiker has plenty of upside to work with over the next few years.

Few wings have as much length as the Port Washington native. Rauch is around 6'0, give or take an inch, and can shoot over almost anyone. Rauch has plenty of physical tools and defensive versatility to catch the attention of a college coach or two at some point. There's room to grow with the ball in her hands, but with the length and shooting, you can't teach. I've been a fan of hers since I saw her a little over a year ago, and there's a world where she could give teams in the North Shore fits. We'll see how Port Washington plays this season, but I like what Rauch brings to the floor.

I've heard nothing but positive things about Lucassen's work ethic and approach to the game from college coaches and people who've been around. The Preble guard impacts people, and I understand why that's the case. She plays hard, can get by her initial defender, doesn't shy away from contact, makes shots, and wants to get her teammates involved. She's the type of kid coaches recruit and players want to play with. Lucassen may fly under the radar depending on the team's success at Preble over the next few seasons, but coaches will love her once they talk to her and the people around her.
