[player_tooltip player_id='633532' first='Leila' last='Goll'] is definitely a player destined to break out this season, and her output this summer was a premonition. Goll shot the ball as well as anyone over the summer. Goll has some game, and she really showed it. She consistently knocked down 3 to 4 threes per game, and teams were game-planning to stop the barrage of threes. Goll brings a lot of energy to the court, and it translates well on the defensive side of the ball, too. BShe plays the passing lanes well and can turn a team's mishap into a bucket. With the exit of key seniors from the 2024 class, the situation is perfect for Goll to step right in and make an immediate impact. She is destined to breakout in a “big” way.

[player_tooltip player_id='514545' first='Mariah' last='Young'] showed a lot over summer ball and again this past Fall season. By attrition (and by observation), it's clear that Young will be the leader of a Freshman dominated roster. Young plays with a quiet but confident demeanor and has been under pressure when the game is on the line. Young can handle the ball, get to the rim, and hit the open jumper. She is also a selfless player who can pass the ball. Young will have some serious "young" talent around her. She just has to drive the bus, and her team might drive straight through District and Regional Avenue.

[player_tooltip player_id='860613' first='Abby' last='Baker'] was there in Lakeland. She was there throughout the highly successful season last year, too. With the exit of one of the best forward combinations in the State (Roundtree and Coyle), Baker will be called on to give the Crusaders a presence in the middle, especially on the defensive end. Baker has good size, and she can rebound the ball. If she had any teammates other than Roundtree and Coyle, her rebound numbers would have doubled. Baker will be one of the Seniors on the team and will provide a great deal of leadership. Baker is expected to have a breakout season. She has the tools and the experience.

[player_tooltip player_id='843386' first='Lyric' last='Hewitt'] came on the scene balling as a Freshman, and this season should be a breakout season for the young baller. Hewitt is primed to have a breakout season where her game morphs into a leadership position and production all over the court, including double-digit scoring. Hewitt can handle the ball, and she is also very good in the open court. She also does a nice job of getting to the rim and scoring Hewitt is a very good defender, and her ability to apply on-ball pressure is disruptive to the opposition. She does a good job of playing in the passing lanes. Hewitt has the ability to cover the opposition's top guard. As good as she was as a Freshman, Hewitt is destined for a standout season in her Sophomore season.

Arielle Marc had a productive season last season, averaging 8.8 points per game, including 19 three-pointers. With the exit of Jadah Toombs and now a Senior, Marc is in position for a natural progression to a breakout season. The operative phrase may be "increased productivity." Marc was a standout this past summer just playing her game. She illustrated strong ball-handling skills, saw the floor very well, and made great assists. She also scored well, shooting from the outside, and was very good in transition. Marc's game is elite and she should have a breakout Senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='430250' first='Paris' last='Washington'] has the tools to be a force on both ends of the floor. As a senior, she will be called on to lead, and with the departure of leaders from last year's team, it's a great opportunity for the shooting guard. Washington has the athleticism and experience to really break out in her Senior year. Washington can shoot the three, and she runs the floor very well. Defensively, she has quick feet and can run the floor, and she can score the ball in transition. Washington has the game and the skills to be a standout and leader. She is poised for a breakout season.
