A couple of weeks ago, we released the updated rankings for the Class of 2026. With 185 players now either ranked in our Top 75 or a part of our 110-person watch list in 2026, I wanted to take the time to highlight a few girls from each position group. Below is a look at the combo guards and the 28 ladies included in this specific group, followed by some analysis on a handful of those prospects.

Riley has always been a skillful guard with tremendous length, fluidity, and upside. Now that she has gotten stronger, she is starting to complete plays more consistently, absorb contact better all over the floor, and she has looked more active recently in terms of rebounding. If at her length she can prove to sit down and defend smaller, quicker guards consistently, and if she shoots it well this Winter, I think she's going to start to see her recruiting interest make a jump, because she is a matchup problem as a 6-0 guard.

Kenedi has been a Varsity starter since her Freshman year, and she is one of the better athletes in this class. She leans primarily on her speed and quickness, but she does play with some bounce as well. Where she has gotten better is, she is starting to let the game come to her much more often. She plays with a quiet toughness and grit, a high-level motor, and she doesn't look like she really fears anyone. She is a blur who likes to attack at the offensive end of the floor, and she is also one of the better defenders in the state in 2026.

Ahniyah is another talented athlete who possesses great speed and quickness, and she is exceptionally bouncy. On her schedule at Connersville, she's typically able to get by defenders and either pull up for an intermediate jumper or get to the basket and finish. She also uses her abilities to defend at a high level. She had some nice showings in the Spring, and if she can continue to hone her skillset, she could be a real problem for teams to defend, even at the college level. She is definitely a fun watch each time out.

Ka'Nyriah saw a little action as a Sophomore for the Lady Wildcats, and she should have an even bigger role this season. She plays low and compact, she has broad shoulders and a strong frame, plus she plays with some quickness (she's more so quick than fast). She handles it well, can create off the bounce, but she's also a very nice perimeter shooter who can get hot and make multiple 3-pointers in a row. I just really like how she takes care of the ball, gets it where it needs to go, and how she seems to compete on each possession.

Sevan had a solid Spring, a nice Summer and Fall, and she's primed to make a big jump this Winter. The transfer to Crispus Attucks should afford her more opportunities to affect games, and she is certainly capable of making plays. She has nice length, all-around athleticism, and she has shot the ball pretty well each time I've seen her over the past six months. Just putting it all together and allowing the game to come to her should make her a tough matchup, especially playing in a Tiger backcourt with other talented guards.
