A couple of weeks ago, we released the updated rankings for the Class of 2026. With 185 players now either ranked in our Top 75 or a part of our 110-person watch list in 2026, I wanted to take the time to highlight a few girls from each position group. Below is a look at the centers and the 12 ladies included in this specific group, followed by some analysis on a handful of those prospects.

Laila spent her first two years at Ben Davis, lettering each year, so she comes to Warren Central with a great deal of experience. Now, with the playmaking guards the Warriors have, she should be in line to see the ball quite a bit off of their penetration. Laila has good size, developing strength, and she continues to grow. She is tremendously long, she runs the floor well North/South, and she is a vocal player. She pursues rebounds, blocks shots, plus she has a 15-foot jump-shot that has gained a lot more consistency.

Savannah is a long, wiry-strong, fluidly athletic front-liner with some bounce as well. She is one of the best "big" athletes in this class, and she is able to stop, start, and change directions better than most. As for skill, she has a really nice mid-post game, she can apply that to the short corners as well, and she is very active. I would like to see her be just a little more physical, but she does have the potential to become more of a face-up '4', especially if she learns to play a little lower and can step out and defend wings better off the bounce.

Bloomington South as a whole has really good size on their roster right now. However, it's Rebekah's developing strength and willingness to battle around the paint that allow some of the others to play away from the basket. Rebekah is a more traditional post who will sit down on the block and establish herself. She has good hands, solid footwork, and a nice base of post moves. In June, she also showed some touch in the mid-post, and she was able to both box out, and pursue rebounds outside of her area. I really like her upside as a prospect.

Until she attended "The Expo" this Fall, I hadn't seen Natalie in a while, as she had dealt with some injury issues. But she performed well at the event, looked leaner but still strong, and she showed the ability to play around the block and use her size or step out and play effectively in the mid-post. She has a strong understanding of the game, she'll work hard at either end of the floor, and she likes contact but shows some finesse as well. A strong Winter and Spring should help her pick up a lot of nice small college interest, considering her size and skill.

Raven caught my eye throughout the Spring & Summer, and she could have an impactful Winter for the Lady Panthers in 2024-2025. She has good height and length, wiry strength, and she runs the floor North/South well. She has some agility to her as well, plus she's comfortable at the basket or in the mid-post. She is certainly very intriguing as a prospect, and as she finishes growing, gaining strength, and developing her instincts, I could see several varying levels of schools potentially interested in her as a recruit.
