In this piece, there mention five prospects out of Nebraska that you should remember as we move into the high school season. Each player is someone that should make a difference within their respective program this Winter. They each did a fine job at our event this past weekend and they are all hungry for some more.

[player_tooltip player_id='1045024' first='Sadie' last='Cornell'] was one of the only 2025's at this event and she did a good job of representing her Class in several different ways. Cornell would be described as a 5'5 PG, that really just does whatever is needed. She is more of a team player and facilitator, than a take over the game type but she does a respectable job of being the best version of herself out on the hardwood. She can create, pass, push tempo, and defend alike sized prospects across from her. She might not kill you in scoring but she can hold her own in that category as well. Looking forward and I'm not sure of what the future holds for Cornell. She is going to be her leader for one more go around this high school season and if she does well, I'm sure she will generate some interest from the next level. If that's what her aspirations may be.

I was impressed with how [player_tooltip player_id='1045004' first='Dalia' last='Durant'] came out firing on Saturday morning during the skill and shooting portions of the event. She was one of the most consistent in the gym, no matter what activity we were doing and she didn't get lost when the coaching staff was going into great detail about different drills or situations. Durant is an individual that can be moved around a little on the court and she will still yield positive results. She has a square shot form, as the ball is always in the same place before she lets it go and she found a lot of success in that shot this weekend. Coming off of a solid AAU campaign and Durant will look to make some waves for her last year of high school ball these next few months. A goal that is certainly manageable.

I like the combination of length, athletic ability, and knowledge of the game that [player_tooltip player_id='1045003' first='Bryleigh' last='Robinette'] possesses at this stage in her career. Robinette comes in as a 5'11 SG, that is willing to play both the inside and outside for her team. Honestly, this type of prospect is a commodity to any coach out there because of her versatility with her size. Offensively in high school, she can play both the inside and outside, being a thorough scorer/facilitator whenever possible. Defensively, she can stick on faster guards on the outside or she can wall up against the post or near the paint more-so. During our Showcase, she did all of this at a steady rate during our 3v3 and 5v5 contests. This Winter Robinette will return to SSC High School in attempts to build on the base they set in place last season. If everyone stays on task, that should took place according to plan.

[player_tooltip player_id='1045018' first='Liv' last='Schieber'] is going to have a lasting impact at the Varsity level for the next couple of years and she did a great job of putting her best foot forward this past weekend. Schieber is a natural on the court. That's the easiest way to put it. She puts in hard wood and she does all the little things, so I'm sure it's a grind but she makes it seems easy and that is not something you can teach from a coaching perspective. This might be her first year at the high school level but I wouldn't be surprised if she played Varsity right away or was at least on their bench while competing on JV. She is a difference maker most of the time when she takes the court and that should be a constant.

[player_tooltip player_id='1045001' first='Bailee' last='Durant'] showed out during this event, demonstrating that she could be the first option for a team with her shooting ability off the catch or dribble. Durant made the most of her opportunities whenever the defense would give her time and she stood out because of that on Saturday morning. With Durant's height and stationary shot form, it makes sense as to why she is such an accurate shooter most of the time. In any offense, if you can move quickly into your shot and still be efficient, then you are the real deal and I think this is someone who could get to that point somewhere in her future.
