Zara Griffin has put in the work and has evolved into one of the top Power Forwards on the First Coast. Griffin combines power with speed and determination, and no forward is more determined than she to get the job done. She plays with an edge, and it's her effort that is her calling card. She possesses the ability to score the ball on drives and has a nose for rebounds and loose balls, but it's her effort that stands out. Take the Fall League matchup against Creekside; Griffin found herself on the floor throughout the game, fighting for loose balls. She can score in the paint and has really good footwork to maneuver for the shot. In addition to these characteristics, Griffin is also faster than most power forwards. She fills the lanes well on fastbreaks and is skilled enough to handle the ball and lead the break. Offensively, the versatile forward hs a nice midrange shot and can shoot from behind the arc and hit the three.

Ya'zuri Hollie is another young player whose "stretch-four" game is indicative of what the power forward position is evolving into. She can rebound, play physical inside, score in the paint, attack the rim, and then step out and hit the long outside shot. Hollie gives you a lot to marvel at. She can handle the ball, drive the ball from the perimeter, thrive in the transition game, and shoot the ball from behind the arc. She has a great size and a great physicality which enables her to compete on the inside.

[player_tooltip player_id='1046157' first='Siun' last='Crowley'] is another power forward who can shoot the three. Crowley turned heads over the summer with her versatility, and judging from her play during the Fall League, she is a legitimate "stretch-four" prospect. In addition to Crowley's ability to play inside and outside, she can also handle the ball well enough to bring the ball up the court. She had one play over the summer where she took the rebound and went coast to coast immediately. College coaches took notice, and one coach even told me personally how impressive that was. Crowley doesn't rely on the three-ball, and she actually plays the four position like a traditional four. She rebounds on both ends of the floor and she scores on the inside, especially off of offensive rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='346854' first='Jolena' last='Gardner'] is another power forward who can shoot the rock on the perimeter as well as in the paint. She is one of the top talents in North Florida, and she has the ability to play all five positions on the floor. Gardner's three-point shot is smooth, and when she connects on a few, she becomes a virtually unstoppable force on the court. Gardner can put the ball down and drive the paint. She has a sweet fade-away jumper to score over taller forwards and centers, and she has the footwork to create in the paint. Gardner is a force on the boards, and she can initiate the offense with her ability to handle the basketball. Gardner might be one of the most underrated prospects in the 2026 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='370059' first='Nacoya' last='Blocton'] is one of the top shooting power forwards in the 2026 class. She has some of the best post moves and footwork of all the power forwards on the list. Blocton's three-point shooting was last season as she connected on 39 threes and averaged nearly 17 points per contest. She was also the primary ball-handler last season and averaged nearly three assists per game . Blocton was also a sneaky defender from the four position, averaging nearly four steals per game. Blocton is primed for a special senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1039032' first='Mikayla' last='Paschal'] is another power forward who is versatile enough to play on the inside and then give you a constant threat from behind the three-point line. Paschal is a 1,000-point scorer, and last season, she shot 40 percent from behind the arc. The impressive part of Paschal's game is that she averaged 21.8 points per game without an unearthly amount of threes, yet she kept the defense honest with her high percentage from behind the arc. Paschal recently excelled at the PGH Expo and showcased her "stretch-four" skill set.

player_tooltip player_id='400813' first='Asiana' last='McCreary'] is another player who plays the four and can shoot the three. At Fall Ball recently, the young power forward connected on several threes from the corner. McCreary had some nice takes to the rim, especially when she was covered by another power forward or center. McCreary was also very good on the boards and her ability to find the open shooter is going to be a backbreaker with the shooters that she has on her team. Giving her team extra possessions will be a strong part of McCreary's game that might go unnoticed.
