Needless to she is eager to get her high school career going and on track. Leila is a deadly 3 point shooter that has great ball handling ability and a high Basketball IQ. She made an impact in several games as a solid defender and a player that can score the ball when counted on either at the free throw line or hitting an open jump shot. She averaged 9.5 points per game, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals as a freshman last season. She is a strong Power Forward that is an excellent rebounder and a defensive stopper. She is underrated as a scorer as she has shown the ability to hit mid-range shots as well as score inside vs. bigger players. She saw a lot of playing time for Pueblo last season as a Freshman, and will be counted on to make a big contribution again this year. She has a very high Basketball IQ. She is very underrated because she is always a "team first" player, but she has the ability to score 20 points a game if she wanted to. She is also a tremendous defensive player that can play the entire game if needed.
