Top Talent Showcased at Power 100 Camp

Being that we are less than two weeks away from the start of practice, it was good to see quality basketball played at its finest. You could tell a lot of girls are hungry and can't wait for the season to start. Basketball is a year round sport and all the girls were out their showcasing their skills and displaying what they have been working on in the lab. Basketball season is going to be a good one this year and just like you, I can't wait.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As I have mentioned before in previous articles, there was loads of talent on the hardwood competing against each other. In a setting like this, I love the fact girls can measure themselves up against talent from different classifications and from around the state. All styles of basketball aren't the same and you could see the differences out there on the court. At the end of the day though, if you play with hustle, heart, put the ball in the hoop, that's all that matters. The 3 level scoring threat is very shifty, creative with the ball in her hands. A hybrid player who can use her size to create mismatches. This kid has been making a lot of noise on the AAU circuit. With her offensive game and her defensive prowess, she adds another weapon to the Lady Blaze program. Look for this young lady to continue to rise up the charts as she steps into the high school realm. Speed is a part of her game, which enables her to attack gaps to finish at the rim or pull up in the mid-range game. She's big time at defending, where she gets steals and deflections. She's on the boards, pushing the ball in transition. This kid has so much to her game and I love the fact that she challenges high school girls and she isn't in high school herself yet. Look for her to continue to get better and compete above her age. She possesses quick reactionary skills, which enables her to get steals and deflections, be in position to block shots, and of course rebound the basketball. She is a solid defender who can challenge both guards and bigs. This upcoming season, look for her to play a pivotal role for her MTCS program. Brings the energy to the hardwood, she is a heady basketball player who is a multi-level scoring threat. Selfless, this kid knows when to go put the ball hoop herself or drop dimes to her teammates. She defends like crazy and contributes on the boards as well. This kid has had a sensational summer where she has shined at camps and on the EYBL circuit. Look for her to continue her upwards trajectory and help McEwen make some noise this upcoming season. She isn't afraid to lock up the other team's best talent, she's fearless. Look for her to add significant value to the Rockvale's program this upcoming season. She seems to always get better, not only by scoring the rock, but doing the other little things as well. She doesn't shy away from competition, always being in the mix against another good player. She's a heady ball player who can change the trajectory of a game. All summer, she has shined on different platforms. Look for her to continue this upwards trajectory and knock down even more doors this season.
