Once again Bruno Corras of [program_tooltip program_id='715208' first='Elevate' last='Elite'] and Elevate Your Game Scouting assembled a ton of talent for his annual EYG clinic at Westfields High in Chantilly, Virginia. The event attracted talented players, top national talent evaluators and quality coaches from across the country. It was a quality event from start to finish with excellent instruction which led to a very competitive environment. There were several underclassmen who caught my eye and here is a look at a few of them.

Cooper Cox, 2028, Wesleyan Christian Academy, Point Guard

Very talented player from Greensboro, North Carolina that made the trip up. Cooper gets the ball up the court fast by advancing it with a pass or blowing by defenders with the dribble. Her vision and passing is advanced for a freshman and by the end of the event her teammates had figured out that they needed to run hard and look for the ball because she was delivering it. She is an excellent ball handler and showed the ability to make shots from all three levels. On defense she kept people in front of her with good footwork and speed. She is an exceptional athlete.

[player_tooltip player_id='1058509' first='Tatiana' last='Doane'], 2028, Potomac Falls, Point Guard

Tatiana bowed out early after aggravating an injury, but she didn't need long to make an impression. She's small but tough, fierce and skilled. She made some explosive moves and real strong finishes at the rim. I like her high motor, decisive cuts and slashes to the basket. She's a pest of defense, pushing up full court with solid on ball pressure.

Morgan Landrum, 2027, North Paulding, Guard

Morgan's length caught my eye right away. At 5'11" she's a big guard that brings some serious on ball defense. Her combination on length, intensity and athleticism made her hard to beat. She has a nice offensive game as well. She rebounds well and is able to push the ball and complete plays with her vision and passing. She plays off two feet in the paint which helps her power up for finishes.

[player_tooltip player_id='935931' first='Camryn' last='Logan'], 2028, Skyline High, Combo Guard

Camryn had a good showing. She's a great shooter with deep range on her shot and she really knows how to play. She set solid screens, moved with purpose off the ball, and was not afraid to hit the floor and scrap for loose balls. She is a good ball handler and found her teammates with some nice passes.

[player_tooltip player_id='864319' first='Jaylah' last='King'], 2028, Mount Carmel, Combo Guard

[player_tooltip player_id='864319' first='Jaylah' last='King'] is a gym rat that shows up for everything and balls out. She has advanced skills and competes hard on every possession. Today I was impressed by her post game. It's refreshing to see a guard go into the post and use footwork and ball fakes to put points on the board. She can finish with both hands and showed off a nasty double spin move that turned some heads.

Liya Fairfax, 2028, Georgetown Day School, Guard

Liya showed a nice feel for the game and took advantage of the what the defense gave her. She plays at a measured pace and then explodes when necessary, which kept defenders off balance. I'm not sure what her best position is but she handled the ball well, defended at a high level and made good passes. She got some points in transition, finishing with both hands. Good size and upper body strength.
