Talia is going to play an intricate role for Cardinal Mooney this season as they look to get over the hump and win the schools first state championship. The 5'4 guard who's coming off a serious foot injury that kept her sidelined for the Cougars late playoff run in 2023-24 is one of the states best 3-point shooters. She moves extremely well off the ball hunting her shot, uses screens to create opportunities, has a quick release and can also put the ball on the floor to create space if needed. Busser missed 11 games but still finished the season second on the team in made threes (51) to only Cincinnati commit Kali Barrett. Talia's unwavering confidence to shoot the deep ball in big moments may be the difference when the team is in Lakeland.....again.

Kaya is one of the states best three-point shooters regardless of region. The 5'8 shooting guard is a career 44% three-point shooter connecting on 60 last season in just 24 games. Langford's form is smooth and consistent. Her movement off the ball is a lot like Klay Thompson, she will hunt her shot off screens, whether pin downs or fades, create opportunities off broken plays, and will relocate to the open spaces beyond the arc after offensive rebounds. She does a great job using a quick dribble or two resetting her feet to reload and get a quality look off. She can put the ball on the floor in transition and pull up from anywhere, and is just as deadly if not more when running the lanes without it.

Paisley is an efficient shooter that can score from all three levels. The 5'8 combo guard is crafty the way she uses ball screens to create separation from her defender both in the mid-range and beyond the arc. She can also space the floor and play off ball using her quick release to creating problems for the defense. Paisley doesn't let the opposing team speed her up, the pace that she plays at allows her to make the right read and get to the open spots for her jumper. Paisley gets her shot off with great ball fakes and a deadly step back. She is lethal in transition where she can stop and pop off the dribble, or hit open shots running the lane. She is such a pass-first unselfish guard, sometimes I think her shot-making ability becomes underrated.

The 5'9 "hybrid guard" plays with a flair and excitement that can only truly be appreciated in person. Riley is coming off a great AAU season with [program_tooltip program_id='931970' first='Duval' last='Elite'] SWFL where she displayed her ability to score at all three levels. The Newberry commit has unlimited range and is lethal in transition where she can stop on a dime and pull up from anywhere. She has an elite mid-range jumper and can finish in the paint with either hand, that coupled with her ability to pass at a high level makes her unguardable. Riley has a lethal cross over and and can get her shot off going either way. In the half-court offense she creates issues for the defense in pick and roll sets and can play off ball as a catch and shoot option. Her quickness and creativity with the ball in her hands make her a unique and unfair addition to an already stacked Cardinal Mooney squad. Riley is box office.

Savannah is one of the best pure shooters I've seen in a long time. The Bloomingdale transfer has unlimited range from three and when she gets hot there is no one better. Savannah had a great summer with ECU where she showcased her ability to shoot from midrange, and finish at the rim. She has a quick release off the catch and shoot and can create opportunities off the dribble with either hand. The 5'10 guard has great rotation, a soft touch and the ability to hit tough shots at any angle. She is elite at finding the open spots to get her shot off in transition and is a player you can draw up dozens of half court sets to get her good looks. The Bulls are hoping her elite shooting will be the difference this season as they look to win a state championship.

Tessa is an absolute cheat code with her ability to score at all three levels. The 6'0 senior uses her length to create mismatch opportunities when she has the ball. She gets to her spots and shoots over most defenders, and the ones that are her size she uses her underrated quickness and elite footwork to blow by them and finish in the paint. Tessa is elite in transition and runs the floor better than anyone in SWFL. She can also play off the ball and space the floor, making her one of the most versatile players in the 2025 class. The Lynn commit shot almost 50% from the field and 35% from beyond the arc for [program_tooltip program_id='931970' first='Duval' last='Elite'] SWFL this past summer showcasing her ability to be an efficient shooter while leading the team in scoring.
