NOVA Preseason Senior Team: Private School

She is a fantastic spot-up shooter and a high-IQ player. Daniya stood out to me last month at PVI in the Scott Allen Showcase. Daniya will have a big role for Bishop O'Connell this year, and I expect her to put up some nice numbers.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>HM [player_tooltip player_id='238923' first='Leah' last='Keyes']&nbsp;<br>[player_tooltip player_id='238923' first='Leah' last='Keyes'] should be fantastic on both ends for a Virginia Academy team that could be better than people anticipate. Leah is an elite driver with nice athleticism. She is also a great jump shooter and always plays hard. Theresa has an elite handle and is extremely quick. Theresa scores the ball from all over the court and does a great job setting her teammates up. Amirah is an efficient scorer and a deadly three-point shooter. I would put Amirah's ability as a spot-up shooter from range up there with anyone in the state. Amirah's work ethic and commitment to the game may be her biggest strength, considering how much she has improved and risen up the rankings in the past 3 years. Riley can play as a guard or wing, and I've seen her play a lot of PG for PVI. Riley does a great job attacking the rim and has worked on her jump shot a lot, and she is now a reliable shooter. Throughout her time at PVI, Riley has taken the responsibility of guarding the opposing team's best perimeter scorer. She is a versatile defender and can fit in almost any situation. Nyla is a top 20 player in the country and a gifted offensive player. Nyla has elite guard skills with a mix of excellent size at 6'2. She has a nice handle and a silky smooth mid-range shot. Potomac School has a lot of talent in their backcourt so I think you'll see Catherine playing a lot more as a forward. Catherine is quick for her size and is a difficult player to match up with. She has a good jump shot and rebounds the ball well. Catherine will be a key piece for an outstanding Potomac school squad.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
