She is my pick for the best shooter in the DMV. She hits difficult shots over players, and she has a quick release. She has a nice dribble pull-up and is one of the best guards in the country for 2025. She was a first-team selection in the WCAC.

Amirah hit 4 first-half threes that helped give Ireton a nice lead that they never gave up. Amirah had a strong take late in this game, and she consistently made the right play. She finished with 14 points.

Amirah Anderson Amirah Anderson 5'10" | SG Bishop Ireton | 2025 State VA again put on a shooting clinic in Bishop Ireton’s win over Friends Central. I’ve said this a few times, but you’d be hard-pressed to find many shooters in the country better than Amirah. Amirah’s big third quarter helped Ireton pull away from Friends Central. She showed off her shooting and had an and one towards the end of the quarter. Amirah’s playstyle and skill set make her a seamless fit in almost any situation, and she shows why she’s a top talent in the country.

I put Amirah Anderson Amirah Anderson 5'10" | SG Bishop Ireton | 2025 State VA ‘s shooting ability up there with almost anyone in the country. Amirah knocked down some shots today from serious range with defenders in her face. Amirah battled on the offensive glass and had a few put backs. She got fouled on a couple of jumpers and had an efficient game.

Amirah Anderson Amirah Anderson 5'10" | SG Bishop Ireton | 2025 State VA has developed into a top 100 player in the 2025 class in the country. Amirah is an efficient scorer and a deadly three-point shooter. I would put Amirah’s ability as a spot-up shooter from range up there with anyone in the state. Amirah’s work ethic and commitment to the game may be her biggest strength, considering how much she has improved and risen up the rankings in the past 3 years. Amirah is one of the top G/wings in the DMV and will average close to 20 a game.

From a career standpoint, probably the highest riser in the 2025 class! Injuries kept her off the court early when she started in high school. First she had an up-and-down AAU experience at one stop. But once all the pieces got together, Amirah simply took off! Once she got in the starting lineup at Bishop Ireton, she never looked back! She made the transition and played for Team Takeover 17U EYBL team . Arguably the best three-point shooter in the 2025 class and currently ranked as the 75th prospect in the country via ESPN!

She went from a backup player on her AAU team to now ranked as the number 71st player in the country Via ESPN! Amirah has put in the work over the years improving all aspects of her game. She is a lethal shooter from three point range and has proven to be one of the top shooters in the country. Her rise has been steady and now she sits as the number 2 rated player in the state already committed to Boston College!

Team Takeover had the luxury of rotating five players at every break in action, Amirah found the opportunity to nail a three on each rotation. I didn’t see her miss a shot from long range so leaving her in wouldn’t have been fair after TTO went up 30 to Team Melo .
