Here is a look at the Top Ten ranked prospects in the new rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='719101' first='Macayla' last='Askew'], 6'0”, SF, Derby, ‘26

Askew ascends to the top spot in the rankings up from No. 5 overall. She is a tough-as-nails defender and controls the boards. She averaged 14.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per game as a sophomore.

[player_tooltip player_id='351760' first='Asia' last='Lee'], 5'10”, CG, Olathe North, ‘26

Lee is ranked No. 2 overall after previously being ranked No. 1. She averaged 19.2 points per game as a sophomore. She is lightning-quick and has solid court vision.

[player_tooltip player_id='621241' first='Paityn' last='Fritz'], 6'2”, C, Salina South, ‘26

Fritz is ranked No. 3 overall and is the top-ranked true post player in this class. She scored 13.5 points per game as a sophomore and grabbed 8.7 rebounds per game. She is also a solid volleyball prospect. She is currently ranked No. 136 overall by Prep Dig. She finished her junior volleyball season with 296 kills and 24 blocks. Fritz moved up into the Top Ten after previously being ranked No. 17 overall.

[player_tooltip player_id='544017' first='Shamari' last='Lewis'], 6'0”, PF, Liberal, ‘26

Lewis is ranked No. 4 overall after previously being ranked No. 20. She is a multiple-sport athlete who qualified for the Kansas State Track and Field Meet last year. She competes in the long jump and triple jump. It is not surprising then that she can jump over taller players to hit buckets in the paint, with that on her resume.

[player_tooltip player_id='317352' first='Mary' last='Grant'], 6'0”, SG, Bishop Miege, ‘26

Grant moved up one spot in the rankings from No. 6 to No. 5 overall. She scored 15.2 points per game during her sophomore season for the Stags. She is also a force on the defensive end of the court averaging more than two steals per game and four-plus rebounds per contest.

[player_tooltip player_id='722996' first='Maddie' last='Gragg'], 5'11”, SG, Seaman, ‘26

Gragg is ranked No. 6 overall after being ranked No. 2. She is a physical player who I saw play on multiple occasions last year. She can score from the inside and is dominant on the glass.

[player_tooltip player_id='481452' first='Alexis' last='Hecht'], 5'8”, SG/CG, Wamego, ‘26

Hect is ranked No. 7 overall. The Wamego junior is a multi-sport prospect. Her season ended early last year with a wrist injury. She bounced back on the volleyball court this season for Wamego. Hecht is athletic as all get out and I hope to catch her play this season after missing her during her sophomore campaign. She averaged over 20 points per game in 14 games played.

[player_tooltip player_id='773203' first='Elle' last='Robinson'], 6'0”, PF, St. James Academy, ‘26

Robinson is ranked No. 8 by Prep Girls Hoops Kansas. She is a shifty and strong athlete who can impact the game in several ways. She scored 11.9 points and grabbed 6.9 rebounds per game as a sophomore. She also averaged more than two assists and one steal for St. James Academy last year.

[player_tooltip player_id='525605' first='Imani' last='McGlory'], 5'7”, SG, Topeka West, ‘26

McGlory climbed the rankings ladder into the Top 10. She is ranked No. 9 overall after previously being ranked No. 82. She averaged 13-plus points for the Chargers. She was the main offensive weapon for the Chargers a season ago. It will be interesting to see how her game evolves this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='719106' first='Cammi' last='Unruh'], 5'8”, CG, Moundridge, ‘26

Unruh was another player who made a giant leap up the rankings. She is now ranked No. 10 after previously being ranked No. 88 overall. She scored 14.8 points per game during her sophomore season for the Wildcats. She is an excellent shooter as evidenced by her shooting percentages of 54 percent from the field, 65 percent from the free-throw line, and 33 percent from 3-point range.
