Bourrage of Davenport North has had the #1 spot for the 2025 Class ever since she had her standout performance in Chicago at Nike TOC a few years back. Her talent and skill level is some of the best in the Country for her Class and I think that could show at the next level with LSU as well. It's never easy to join a powerhouse like the Tigers but Bourrage is going to make the best of it. The competition level in practice itself will hopefully push her to be the best version of herself out there and who knows where that could take her by the end of her basketball career.

In at #2 in this Update is PG - [player_tooltip player_id='311396' first='Ava' last='Zediker']. Now some might debate this spot between a few talented prospects in this Class and I think all of those prospects have really good arguments. So it really comes down to what you need and want as a college coach at the end of the day. If you want a PG that will control all facets of the game, while being a great example of an ideal teammate and someone who can light the nets on fire with her jump shooting ability or do you want an able producer at a different position? At the end of the day, Zediker has the best true PG that the state of Iowa has to offer at this moment and she has started off her Senior season demonstrating that at a high rate.

[player_tooltip player_id='311351' first='Amani' last='Jenkins'] of Johnston High School just recorded some strong performances to kick off this season and she should continue on that trend moving into Winter break. Jenkins has size, strength, physicality, touch on the ball, footwork, athletic ability, and she is aware of what's going on around her at all times on both sides of the ball. These are all traits that make a Center or a Post, a good one. So it's not suprising to see how things are going. She has been a vital piece to Johnston once again this season and that won't slow down any times soon by the looks of it.

The [player_tooltip player_id='311363' first='Libby' last='Fandel'] experience is one that is fun to watch, no matter who the competition is. Fandel, the Kansas Women's Basketball commit, has been scorching the nets once again this Winter as Xavier's biggest producer on and off the ball. The effortless ability that Fandel plays with is what stands out about her game. Other than the fact that she has naturally good size and athleticism. When you combine that all together, you get a recipe for success and a whole lot of buckets. Somethings you see whenever you go to watch Fandel do her thing.

The Partner-In-Crime to [player_tooltip player_id='311381' first='Divine' last='Bourrage'] at D. North has always been [player_tooltip player_id='311365' first='Journey' last='Houston']. Houston has returned this Winter off of injury from last and she looks just as good as she did prior to it happening. She doesn't have any noticeable limp or slowness in her steps, she is still as sharp has can be mentally with the strategic side of the game, and she is playing simply basketball leading to some positive results. Davenport North is always in the State conversation for their Class because of their two stars and that will be the case once again this season.
