Always been a big fan of [player_tooltip player_id='895665' first='Legaci' last='McCray'] and her play-style. McCray is someone that mixes it up on both sides. She likes to play with physicality and a head down mentality when getting to her spots. On the AAU floor, McCray has been a standout for her Lifeline team in most of the tournaments that I have seen her compete at. I'm excited to see what someone like this is going to do at the Varsity level one day. If she gets her time to shine, I think she will make the most of it and show off to everyone watching that she is a solid overall recruit.

[player_tooltip player_id='884234' first='Da'Nyla' last='Tatum'] has been someone I've heard a lot about up until this point in her career and so I can't wait to see what she does over the next four years at Bellevue West. From what I've seen, Tatum is listed as a CG but she is more-so a Scoring guard at heart. She plays some respectable ball on both ends but you can definitely tell that she knows how to get a bucket at any moment. Bellevue West returns some players from years pat and they have added some new pieces like Tatum. If they mesh together well, they should put together a better than average season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1045002' first='Brekklyn' last='Coltrane'] of Westview High School has been someone that we've seen a lot of leading up to her Freshman season on the AAU scene and at PGH events. Coltrane has moments of being a lights-out shooter. She has a really fundamental jumper, that usually always looks like it's going in when she releases it from the outside. Not to mention, like any shooter, she can heat up in the blink of an eye, once she see's one go in. If she can continue to stack days and she works on her other abilities, she will like where it takes her on her basketball journey.

Skutt Catholic returns this Winter and they are looking to make some waves, per usual. They will rotate in a seasoned group at the Varsity level but someone to know from their 2028 Class is [player_tooltip player_id='1045022' first='Penny' last='Currans']. We have mentioned Currans during this Fall as being someone to know and we are sticking by that. This is a player that is better than your average at the guard position. She isn't the tallest but she works hard and she seems to make a mark on any contest that she participates in. If she can find her niche in Skutt's system early on, she will light it up and be someone we speak highly about for years to come.

Another player for Bellevue West, that should get some Varsity time over her career is [player_tooltip player_id='1045027' first='Skylar' last='Johnson']. Johnson is a fast twitch, smooth maneuvering guard, that has some quick and natural instincts. It doesn't matter if she is on or off of the ball. Johnson can make something happen either way. Defensively, she demonstrates all that time that she has an act for taking away the ball from an opponent by being in the right spot at the right time. Keep an eye on Johnson. Within the right system, she could really thrive over her high school career.
