Happy holidays to those who celebrate and hopefully the time spent with loved ones on this break has been filled with pleasure so far. It's an ideal time to discuss the recently dropped '25 rankings, more specifically focusing on the combo guards from the class. As the year is closing and many have some time on their hands, its critically important to highlight this vast group of girls. There're many senior girls listed in the update; below are the top 5 combo guards from the rankings.

Aisha Salam Hassan (2025) | 5'8 CG | SHG

Aisha is ranked the #1 combo guard in the region. The Arkansas Razorbacks commit is one of the most dynamic guards around. She plays with a fantastic pace, changes levels and heights magnificently within the offense and in isolation. Her ability to put pressure on the defense is a gamechanger. The 3-level scoring is there and she's also incredibly productive. A highly efficient player that's a striking force without needing to log heavy minutes. Defensively Aisha brings the energy and makes ballhandlers uncomfortable when she's pressed up on them. She has quick feet that allow her to stay in front of just about anybody. The #15 ranked player in the entire class is a high-octane player with exceptionally crafted skills.

Adams-Lopez is an electric player that plays with confidence and is proficient in many areas. The Brown commit has a game that will easily translate at the next level. She can score from 3 levels, as well as getting to the line repeatedly. Her shifty nature makes it hard for players to stay in front of her. Charlotte's change of speed dribbling is offbeat to many defenders which causes them to have a hard time keeping their center of gravity. The constant efforts attacking players with high energy takes just urges the defense to react to her. She's a very willing passer that drops marvelous looking dimes to teammates once getting the help to commit. That energy is reciprocated on the defensive end too. Her strength of will allows her to grind it out throughout the course of the game. Altogether, Adams-Lopez is a great talent that's the #2 ranked combo guard in the class.

The Stonehill commit is coming in as the #3 ranked combo guard in the class. The versatile senior is a leader on the floor that helps pilot her team with efficient, yet exciting plays. Her signature moves are polished and she isn't afraid to exploit any mismatch. Smith isn't afraid to shoot the ball, no matter the position she may be placed. She can comfortably play on or off the ball and she brings a sense of reassurance for her team every time she's on the court. Smith's explosiveness on the offensive end makes her an stately option to have a big game at any point. Smith can get it rolling quickly and with this she'll ignite her team. For all these reasons, Narrissa is one of the leading players at the position.

A very resourceful guard that's levelheaded in her decision-making, yet assertive. It's seemingly rare that she gets rattled by tough defenders. Olausson relies on her prepared offensive skillset that's well-suited for carrying different tempos of the game. Emma is a constant threat to the defense due to her domineering 2-way playmaking ability. Her length and size while providing primary ballhandling prowess often takes the defense by surprise. She also uses that wingspan as a defender herself something that makes her a wonderful aid to teammates in help-side positions. One thing for certain is there aren't too many players like Olausson around; she's a stunning player that is the #4 ranked player at the combo guard spot.

[player_tooltip player_id='301042' first='Bleu' last='Kerr'] (2025) | 5'9 CG | Boston Latin

Bleu is a 5'9 guard that takes advantage of the mismatches that are put on her. Regularly Kerr will be looking to make a play for herself or teammates and can carry a good portion of responsibility when she has the ball in her hands. She's a strong based guard that has bullish tendencies when smaller guards are up against her and far too athletic for the bigger players that will step up. Kerr is someone who can greatly influence the course of the game. She likes to take big shots and heightens her game in high leverage moments which always gives her team a fighting chance. On defense, she brings that energy needed to agitate many players. She can guard multiple positions on the perimeter and can even hold her own when it comes to rebounding amongst some of the bigs. The #5 ranked player at the position isn't as highly regarded on the recruiting side yet, but there's nothing a few impactful months of basketball can't change.
