Athletes Stepping Up!

Tex Winter said it best, "Good defensive play is as much a matter of hustle, desire and pride as it is anything else." Shakyra prides herself on defense. She will out hustle you and make you work the entire 94 feet. She's a quick guard that knows exactly how to turn defense to offense! She makes all of the winning plays! I love the effort that she brings to every game. One of my favorite plays by her was the offensive rebound and put-back against Greeneville. Frana continues to shoot the ball at a high clip. If you leave her open from 3, count it! One of the first things that I noticed when watching film was her body control. She is playing more under control. You can tell when an athlete puts in the work in the off season and Smyth definitely has! Aleyah is an athletic two-way player. She is one of the most versatile athletes that you will find in the entire state of TN. She has a great vertical. She is long and athletically gifted. If you don't have Smyth on your radar, you should! She plays her role exceptionally well on a tough Spring Valley team. She's long, athletic, and has great size! Emma already understands the game. I watched her make quick decisions on offense and anticipate passes on the defensive side. She has great instincts. Chloe is shooting the ball at a high percentage. She's an athletic, high energy guard that moves non-stop. I stated before that I love the all out effort and hustle that this athlete brings. She is the definition of an efficient basketball player. If you have not contacted Chloe yet, you should.
