First Half of Season Guard Review Part 2

In this article, we continue to look at some of the performances of the Senior guards around the State of Florida. These guards have different strengths and all are among the best in the class of 2025. They each impact the game in multiple ways.    [player_tooltip player_id='248699' first='Brianna' last='Behn'] (cover photo) has been solid this first half of the season and has positioned herself to finish the season with a continuing rising stock. She is averaging 14 points per game while still running the point guard position and distributing the rock. Behn is averaging 4.5 assists per game. She does a good job of running the offense and controlling the pace of her team's offense. On the defensive end , Behn harasses the ball handler and does a good job of disrupting the opponents defense. At the halfway point of the season, Behn is averaging 4 steals per game. She continues to have a commitment to the defensive side of the ball.     [player_tooltip player_id='346855' first='Naomi' last='Parker'] has been very impressive this first month of the season and the numbers are telling. Parker averages over 20 points per game and she leads all seniors in the freethrow attempted department. The Senior guard has attempted 88 free-throws from the guard position. Parker does have the ability to get in the paint and get to the rim and get the bucket and/or the foul. The Senior guard has also knocked down 30 threes in the first half of the season. On the defensive side of the ball, Parker averages close to 4 seals per game. She checks the boxes in a lot of area, she is solidifying herself as one of the top 2025 guards in the State. She is a selfless team player who can impact the game in various ways.     [player_tooltip player_id='788707' first='Samantha' last='Lecas'] has always been known for her three point shooting, and she has taken her game to another level. The Senior is among the top 5 scorers in the 2025 class and has knocked down 24 threes out of 51 attempts. Lecas isn't just committed to scoring but is making an impact on the defensive side of the ball. At the midway She has averaged 7.4 steals per game. Lecas has always had good speed on the floor. Her quickness allows her to standout in the transition game, get to the rim and also have an impact on the defensive end of the floor.     [player_tooltip player_id='743362' first='Lavin' last='Savage'] has had a telling first half of the season. Her assist average of 5.3 per game and 58 assists overall shows the growth her game. Savage has embraced the roll of the point guard and Senior leader. Savage can get to the rim and puts pressure on the opponent with her ability with her speed. She draws the attention from help side defenders which makes her playmaking ability standout even more. Savage still is averaging 13.2 points per game and 7 rebounds per game from the guard position. The Senior guard has always been committed to the defensive side of the ball and averages right at 6 steals per game. Savage has definitely taken her game to another level and the most impressive part is her ability to impact the game in multiple ways.     [player_tooltip player_id='214182' first='Chardae' last='Rumph'] has had a solid first half of the season, averaging 16.3 points per game. The Senior guard can score in a multiple of ways and do so efficiently. Rumph can shoot three ball and doesn't hesitate even in transition to pull the three. Rumph can also attack the rim and excels in the transition game. The Senior guard is athletic and has good speed on the floor.
