Meet the Rising Stars of the Lady Eagles Basketball Team

These ladies collectively play hard, get it done in the interior, light it up from deep, are pests on the defensive end, and gain rebound better than most teams. They play with a lot of energy and effort. They slow the opposition down with their stifling defense and put up points like no other.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Each and every year, this club has the mindset of winning district championships. This club controls their own destiny. Playing a tough non conference schedule, the Coach Sapp has them primed and ready for district play. Even though last year they didn't make it to the Elite 8, this team is always in talks for state contention each and every year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Lady Eagles are solid 1-5 and have contributors that come off the bench who bring value to the table. Every minute each girl earns maximizes their opportunity as they leave no stone unturned. There isn't a down side or drop off too much in their attack. They just keep coming at you doing so with precision. Nice back to the basket moves, always in the right position to get second chance opportunities, this kid is a double-double pretty much every time she steps onto the floor. Defensively, she can deter shots, control the boards, and makes it tough for post players to operate in the painted area. Solid on both ends of the floor, she plays with a lot of energy and effort, giving it all she has each and every possession. This kid is in growth mode and look for her to continue on this trajectory the more minutes she gains this season. She does the little things that help propel her ball club. Of course she can knock down shots from multiple spots on the floor, but it's her effort on the defensive end that separates her from most. Great court awareness, goes the extra mile to keep plays alive, this kid lives and dies with each possession on both ends of the floor. Look for her to help this ball club reach their goal of returning back to Murfreesboro. This kid is nice from the arc, but will finish on the interior as well. I love her defensive prowess where she is in the right spot at the right time to make plays. Fundamentally sound, this kid works hard at her craft and will do whatever it takes to help her ball club win. Heady basketball player who prides herself on the defensive end. From getting steals, blocking shots, obtaining rebounds, she stifles the defense, slowing them down from doing what they want to do. Emma is nice from around the midrange and within. Her game is evolving and continues to get better every time she steps onto the floor.
