The summit of scoring excellence in high school basketball is set at 1,000 points. If a player starts on varsity all four years of high school, never misses a game, and only plays one playoff game each season (92 games), they would need to average 11 points per game to reach this milestone. Consistency and contributions over several seasons culminate in an exciting celebration for girls who accomplish this feat at their schools. Here are several girls who crossed over the 1,000-point threshold last week and one who became her school's all-time leading basketball scorer.
