Brandi started off her junior year in a big way, doing it all for River Ridge. Stanford ran the court extremely well with and without the ball, finding her teammates if they are open by keeping her head up when pushing the ball. She caused havoc on defense, having 7 steals in the game. She finished with 17 points and 8 assists on the offensive end.

Amy is already known to be a top freshman in the entire state, arguably the best. With her high school career starting, she kept the hype around her game going by showing she is ready for big varsity minutes and a big role now. She finished her first game with 27 points and 15 rebounds.

Brooklynn will likely be featured a lot in this series throughout the year as she could be the best scorer in the entire state. She didn't have to play much against Washougal, since the game got out of hand. Haywood played 18 minutes but dropped 37 points on the night, having 9 three's made. Don't be surprised if she has multiple games with 10+ threes.

I mentioned Rebeca in a recent article, stating she will be a force at the varsity level despite never having a minute played yet at the level. Soares proved me right against Coupeville, having 27 points (11-15 FG), 7 rebounds, 4 steals, 2 blocks, and 1 assist. She is ready to be the lead player on the team and will dominate throughout the season.

Payton is ready to help lead the Lions back to back state titles and I think it is very possible. Mills can score inside and out and thrives in the lead role for her squad. She is a team first player and lets the game come to her. She dropped 30 points in their opening night win.
