Week 5 Freshman And Sophomore Standouts

The young guy plays with a lot of confidence. She handles the ball and crucial moments and shoots the ball in pressure pack moments as well. Mosley is unflappable on the court and plays with the composure of an older player. Mosley has a nice shot and can knock down the three and also shoot the short jumper. She is a special player in the transition game. She makes good decision with the ball in her hands. She passes it well, but also has the ability to drive the ball and get to the rim. Pierce is a confident young player who wants the ball in her hands and doesn't fear the moment. A lot of players run from the ball handling responsibilities and Pierce runs to it. Her speed on the floor was also impressive and her “in your face” style of defense was refreshing. Pierce is a young player to continue to watch. Rosendahl is an up and coming Freshman who can shoot the three. Rosendahl also impacts the game in other ways. She rebounds well from the guard position and also can pass the ball. Leroy has length, runs the floor well, and can protect the paint on defense. On offense, Leroy has showed a nice jump stop in the paint and a nice shooting touch around the rim. The Sophomore guard has good speed on the floor, runs the floor well and is a “hound” on the defensive end of the court. Harrell made plays during the tournament and forced a few turnovers and had some steals of her own. On the offensive end, Harrellbl showed the quickness and explosiveness to get to the basket and score.
