<p>To this point, the undefeated Matadors are averaging 69.0 points per game, while shooting 46 percent as a team overall. They are led by seniors [player_tooltip player_id='391103' first='Sydney' last='Benally'] and [player_tooltip player_id='391104' first='Hope' last='Giddings'] who are posting 21.4 and 13.2 points, respectively. </p>

A capable offensive talent averaging 17.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 3.0 steals. Furthermore the fundamentally sound Sena has registered four Double-Doubles for West Mesa, the teams top mark.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1221571' first='Savannah' last='Madueno'], a 5'6" shooting-guard, leads the Storm in scoring with a respectable 9.4 points per game. The hardworking junior has shown the ability to score off the bounce and finish through contact.</p>

<p>In spite of the subpar start record wise, [player_tooltip player_id='1221598' first='Jasmine' last='West'] has been great for AHA from an individual standpoint. The 5'8" junior small-forward, is the Jaguars leader in both rebounds and scoring. West is averaging 9.9 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.</p>

<p>Leading the charge for La Cueva, is junior shooting-guard [player_tooltip player_id='648191' first='Jordyn' last='Dyer']. At the moment, the dynamic Dyer is the only Bear player to average double-figures, posting 21.3 points per game on 47 percent shooting. Additionally, Dyer is averaging 6.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 2.8 steals for Coach Cogan.</p>

<p>On the flip side, it's [player_tooltip player_id='391110' first='Bleona' last='Agushi'] who is at the forefront for the Knights. Like Dyer, the senior point-guard is the only player to average double-figures for her squad. Agushi is averaging a smooth 16.8 points to go along with 3.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 2.5 steals.</p>

The senior is a physical combo-guard that can score at various levels but is also a willing and capable defender. Speaking of defense, Cibola is allowing just 34.4 points per game thanks to their suffocating on-ball pressure.</p>

<p>Regarding the Bulldogs, it's newcomer Abby Pavia who has emerged as a reliable option for Coach Morrison. The crafty point-guard is the leading scorer on a Bulldogs squad that scores 49.0 points per game. In 9 games played Pavia is posting 14.3 points on 40 percent shooting, while also averaging 4.2 rebounds and 2.6 steals. How will Pavia handle the Cougars physicality, stay tuned. </p>

<p>The Rams -- winners of their last three -- will enter the contest averaging 57.1 points per game. Their leading scorer, [player_tooltip player_id='839457' first='Madilynn' last='Martinez'], is a skilled freshman putting up 15.2 points on 46 percent shooting. [player_tooltip player_id='648192' first='LillyAnna' last='Martinez'], a combo-guard is another key player for the Rams. The junior is averaging 8.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 3.1 steals per game.</p>

<p>To date, the Ravens are scoring just 28.8 points per game. Sophia Lopez, a lanky junior guard, is accounting for nearly a third of Rio Grande's points, with a 9.2 point per game average. If Rio Grande hopes to pull of the upset, they will need a solid performance not just from Lopez, but from the whole team as well. </p>

<p>The Eagles, who have won 12 consecutive games, are allowing just 28.0 points per game thus in 2024-25. What's more, Hobbs has held each of their last three opponents to under 20 points. Seniors [player_tooltip player_id='458555' first='Bhret' last='Clay'], [player_tooltip player_id='458556' first='Brynn' last='Hargrove'] and [player_tooltip player_id='467055' first='Nakia' last='Mojica'] have each committed to play at the next-level. Clay will be attending Division I program Air Force while both Hargrove and Mojica are bound for Division II New Mexico Highlands. </p>

In 10 games, Bri has averaged 12.6 points, 9.1 rebounds and 3.9 steals, totaling three Double-Doubles. As for Mia, she has averaged 7.3 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.8 blocks, logging two Double-Doubles. </p>

<p>Eldorado possesses length in the front-court with seniors Bailey Rohlke and Tessa Gutierrez, which could play a factor in this meeting. The reason being, Volcano only has one player listed at 5'10" or taller. However, Eldorado has yet to be truly battle tested with this roster iteration. That said, the Eagles have notable wins over St. Pius X, 55-54 (2OT) and Alamogordo, 49-27.</p>
