[player_tooltip player_id='693821' first='Aubrey' last='Schwieso'] brings that combination of length, smarts, coordination, and willingness to adapt that every coach loves to see. Schwieso is a 5'10 PG, that understands the meaning of her position. She is a relentless assist leader on every team she plays with and she is always working to make the best situations for the others around her. At the next level, if Schwieso could find a mean side, she could be very productive. I'm not sure if that is her intentions at this time but if so, there are a few coaches across the Midwest that would gladly talk to her moving forward.

Another individual that has great size with a guard like ability is SG - [player_tooltip player_id='671467' first='Leah' last='Weaver'] of West Fork High School. Weaver is someone that can produce on and off of the ball, she knows how to use her size to her advantage on a consistent basis, and she is a solid overall teammate in the aspects of a positive attitude and thorough communication. Looking toward the future, Weaver is someone you could see thriving at the next level in the right circumstances. The first key to everything is her size and her quick ability with that size. If she can really lock in on where she has advantages in the half court, she could feast but we will just have to see how it all plays out.

An unsung hero for Skutt Catholic, that isn't talked about enough is SF - [player_tooltip player_id='305775' first='Kamryn' last='Kasner']. Kasner was recently highlighted by us because she recorded her 500th Varsity Rebound in her efforts earlier on this season. Following this event, Kasner has kept steady with her production and continued to do what she can on both ends of the floor. She has been dominating the paint around on the boards, coming from help side to guard between-the-blocks when something might break down, and she is communicating at a higher rate than most. All of these things are positives and would translate to the next level. That's for sure.

Bellevue West has a few solid ball players on their roster. Someone that specifically sticks out in this conversation from their 2025 Class is SF - [player_tooltip player_id='895658' first='Leah' last='Hickman']. Hickman competes with more heart than most. She is playing as an undersized Forward and doing all that she can to physicality compete with others, who might be 3 - 5 inches taller than herself. It takes dedication to go into the lane knowing that you are going to take a beating at times. It shows you are willing to sacrifice to help those others on the floor around you and that means more than you might imagine from an outside perspective.

I would pleasantly surprised by [player_tooltip player_id='311379' first='Neveah' last='Diaz-Doolin'] and how she started off this Senior season with her Cedar Rapids Prairie Program. Diaz-Doolin has been a staple of the Hawks. She is playing multiple positions, all over the floor and yielding some positive results each time because of her dedication to doing things the right way. If had the chance to watch this Hawks team multiple times this Winter and there were three specific possessions that Diaz-Doolin "proved" herself to me. Each time she was tasked with guarding a high-end D1 committed prospect in the half-court, alone, as that high end prospect tried to take her in an isolation matchup. Each time, DD was LOCK down. She stayed disciplined and recorded a stop each possession because of it. This is someone that has some options as to where she might take things after this season but I'm sure that she is focused on nothing other than bringing home a 5A State Title. Something that is starting to look more and more possible with every win they record.

From my understanding, [player_tooltip player_id='766759' first='Kinzley' last='Hess'] has a serious injury occur that is going to hold her out for a considerable amount of time, if not the entire year. While this is unfortunate, if Hess were to work back to being healthy by the Spring, she could still sign to play college ball. With her smooth dribble, ferocious attitude, and her production - there is definitely a spot or two out there for her on some sort of collegiate roster. This is someone that seems to compete with a chip on her shoulder mentality so if she really wanted too, I'm sure she could make it happen.
