[player_tooltip player_id='842624' first='Vera' last='Grom'] of Sioux City West is an interesting prospect from a recruitment perspective. She has better than average height at 5'10, she has a patented floater or runner within 12FT of the hoop, and she isn't the one to make bad choices when the pressure get's turned up to a higher level in clutch time. She can also rebound better than most and she can make a play whenever things might happen to break down. When you combined all that together, you get a college level player and that's what Grom is to some extent. I'm not sure if that's her motivation in all of this but if she wanted too, I'm sure there are a few places that would accept her with open arms.

A hidden gem from the state of Iowa, that has picked up interest over the past year is [player_tooltip player_id='842579' first='Sophia' last='McCullough'] from Manson-NW Webster High School. McCullough, a 6'0 PF, is a physically gifted individual, that understands her own ability and the ability of those around her. With her natural size and strength, it's usually tough for team's to single cover the painted area against Manson. Most of the time, it'll be an easy bucket if that's the case so they tend to bring more help when possible. I'm not sure where McCullough will end up for college but she has options at this time. As long as she continues to show her worth, she should be happy with how things end up.

DCG is a program that always brings a seasoned product to the floor. They run great offensive schemes, they move the ball effortlessly, and they play for one another. Those three things can take you places in this high school game. Someone from their Senior group, that is still deciding on what she is going to do next year is [player_tooltip player_id='342185' first='Devon' last='Carlile']. Carlile came to DCG two years ago and she has made her mark over-time on both ends of the court. She has been someone that has knocked down shots off the catch, she has defended like her life depends on it, and she has shown that she really does care about this game of Basketball. If those things all stay constant the next few months, who know where they/she could take things. She does have a level of college ability to her game, it'll just really come down to what she wants to do in the end.

Norwalk High School is prepared to end their season with a major bang once they get into the Playoffs. The reason that this group is dangerous is because of the plethora of prospects that they have on hand, along with how well their coaching staff prepares them. Someone out of their Senior class, who is still uncommitted is SF - [player_tooltip player_id='432963' first='Grace' last='Linder']. Linder has length, coordination, balanced, a smart head on her shoulders, and a willingness to make anything work out on the court. She is someone that offensively can post and deal under the basket or she can screen and roll to the hoop from more of an outside position. Defensively, her size helps her dominate a lot of matchups near and far from the paint. This happens to be someone that has several college offers at this time from around the Midwest so it just comes down to which places feels most like home.

A name that many might not be familiar with is [player_tooltip player_id='842632' first='Callie' last='Huber']. Huber is the starting Center for Mid-Prairie High School and she has put together a very successful Senior season thus far. Huber is the force that keeps things going for her Hawk's program. She is someone that handles her own on both ends of the floor with force, while also possessing some impressive touch and coordination while moving at a fast rate. If you look at this season so far, when the Hawks have won, Huber is a major factor in that success. She shows that she directly impacts winning within her program and that is something most can't say at this point moving into January.
