Today, we start with some rankings content. To introduce the 2025 class in its final form, we'll highlight the top ten, followed by the next ten. We'll keep it brief because most of these are committed or have options to play at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='374227' first='Rainey' last='Welson']

The Hortonville product has composed an outstanding four seasons for the Polar Bears. Welson has been among the most efficient players in the state each year she's been at Hortonville, helping earn her team two FVA crowns and a trip to the D1 State Tournament in 2023 after a 41-point outburst in a Sectional Final against Neenah. Welson will continue her playing career in the Big Ten at the University of Maryland.

[player_tooltip player_id='374229' first='Amy' last='Terrian']

The Terrian twins and Pewaukee have been frequent visitors at the State Tournament these past three seasons. After three Woodland-West titles and two runner-up finishes, Terrian and the Pirates capped off a dominant in-state season in 23-24, going undefeated against Wisconsin schools. The senior has been arguably the most lethal spot shooter in Wisconsin and one of the most intense competitors and leaders you'll see. Terrian will continue her playing career with her twin sister, Anna, at Michigan State University in the Big Ten.

[player_tooltip player_id='338945' first='Makena' last='Christian']

A part of the first Hartford team to make the state tournament since 2000, Christian was a significant reason why the Orioles returned to the state tournament. At her best, Christian is an offensive hub that can score from anywhere on the floor, fire passes to cutting teammates, and play with her back to the basket. She demands significant attention when she has the ball and bends the defense to her will. The Oriole will continue her college career in the Big Ten, head west over the Mississippi River, and play for fellow Wisconsinite Dawn Plizuweit at the University of Minnesota.

[player_tooltip player_id='374228' first='JJ' last='Glass-Barnes']

The Prairie School guard may be the best rebounder in her class. The effort she plays with is second to none, and her willingness to be physical and create extra possessions for her teams has swung games in the past. Her perimeter games have improved every year. She keeps getting better. Barnes will continue her career in the Big East and is the first in-state commitment landed by first-year Marquette head coach Cara Consuegra.

[player_tooltip player_id='338940' first='Kristina' last='Ouimette']

The Ouimette name has been synonymous with success in North Central Wisconsin. Kristina has been a part of multiple Great Northern title-winning teams with the T-Birds and won a sectional title in 2023. The 6'2 wing has been one of the best high-usage shooters this state has seen. Kristina will continue her playing career in Wisconsin and join her sister, Julianna, to play for first-year head coach Kayla Karius at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in the Horizon League.

[player_tooltip player_id='448243' first='Katelyn' last='McGinnis']

Few kids explode onto the scene like McGinnis did in the summer heading into her junior season. Everything she touched that summer seemed to turn to gold. Her work ethic allowed her to take a massive leap, which led her to be a unanimous first-team all-conference kid in the FVA. McGinnis will join fellow Wisconsinite and FVA alum Emily La Chapell at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.

[player_tooltip player_id='602353' first='Jordan' last='Fenske']

A [player_tooltip player_id='602353' first='Jordan' last='Fenske'] open three has essentially been treated like a layup by the rest of the Classic Eight, and with good reason. The 5'10 wing has been north of 40% three-point shooter each year and has been an all-conference selection twice, with a third likely coming after this season. The Wolverine will continue her playing career with Kenosha native Nevaeh Thomas and Green Bay native Trista Fayta at Illinois State University in the Missouri Valley Conference.

[player_tooltip player_id='338950' first='Lillian' last='Merow']

The top post in the class has been a four-year starter at Port Washington. She's been a part of the Pirates' rebuild these past four seasons and helped them improve steadily year over year and gotten better each season. Merow will continue her playing career in the Summit League at the University of Omaha.

[player_tooltip player_id='338948' first='Peyton' last='Musial']

A two-time state champion, Musial has adapted to playing with elite talent while developing into what may be the conference Player of the Year in the FRCC as a senior. Her shooting has opened the floor to attack and finish through contact. Musial has become one of the best all-around players in Northeast Wisconsin. Musial will head south to play for the University of Alabama-Birmingham (UAB) in Conference USA.

[player_tooltip player_id='374233' first='Lydia' last='Aalsma']

The Waupun native has played many roles as a Warrior. Most around the state will remember her team in her first season, which earned a D3 state title in 2022, with her sisters Naomi and Abbie Aalsma. Her athleticism and creativity enabled her to become an all-state caliber player. Aaslma will join New Lond native Lizzie Steingraber and Hortonville native MiKayla Werner at the University of St. Thomas in the Summit League.
