One of the first things that stood out to me was her active hands and quick movements on defense. She does a great job of staying in front of her opponents and pressuring any ball handler! Offensively, she is good at attacking the gaps and finishing at the rim. She poured in 17 points and added 4 assists in the win over Gatlinburg-Pittman. The energy that she brings this Alcoa team is contagious! She continues to lead her team in assists with her unselfish point guard play. She also is attacking the rim and finishing strong through contact. Bailey makes an impact on both sides of the court by never giving up on plays. Forget her class and forget her age, she can play with the best of them at the high school level! Ivy continues to read passing lanes exceptionally well. She jumped numerous passes to pick up big time steals. Ivy continues to be a consistent knock down outside shooter. She has a beautiful three point shot, and her teammates know where to find her! This is a young star that is going to be fun to cover through the entirety of her high school career. She does so much of the dirty work for this Bearden team. She's physical and uses her strength exceptionally well to get rebounds. Theola continues to protect the rim. She is also one of the best rim runners that you will find. Trinity is one of the best at her position! She continues to show off good footwork. She knows exactly how to use her strong frame. If Trinity gets you on her back within 10 feet of the basket, you can count it! She can use a power dribble to attack or she simply goes up strong to finish! She finishes exceptionally well around the rim. This Farragut team is one to keep your eyes on.
