A quick look at some frontcourt players who made some noise over the past few weeks.

This was my first time watching Zenai and I came away impressed. She's still a bit raw but has some skills including a nice touch around the basket and excellent form on her foul shots. She knocked down a high percentage of her free throws and her activity on the glass led to her getting quite a few attempts. She's vocal and plays with a high motor and a good, positive attitude. She has good size at six feet.

[player_tooltip player_id='569084' first='Dahni' last='Suggs'], St. Frances Academy, 2026, Power Forward

The 6'2" junior has had a stellar season. She is finishing better in the paint, establishing better position and making her free throws at a higher rate. Her rebounding and defense have been difference makers for the Panthers who are undefeated in league play.

[player_tooltip player_id='857737' first='Ariana' last='Meriedy'], Riverdale Baptist, 2025, Center

Ariana picked up some recognition at the Mid Atlantic Basketball Classic and the DMV Invitational, collecting MVP awards at both. The 6'3" post has been running the floor well, finishing at a high rate in the paint and has expanded her range on her shot. Defensively she has been a force in the paint, blocking shots and closing out possessions by crashing the boards.

[player_tooltip player_id='616551' first='Sara' last='Yarnell'], Hammond, 2025, Power Forward

Sara has been filling multiple roles for the Golden Bears this season. The versatile 6'1" forward has been a facilitator, a scorer and has had to provide leadership. She's one of the best players in Howard County and I'm looking forward to seeing where she lands for college.

[player_tooltip player_id='455406' first='Danika' last='Barnes'], Seneca Valley, 2025, Forward

Danika has been on a good run lately. She's been posting close to a double-double and has been really good on the boards. She's a strong offensive rebounder due to her activity level. She's a high motor player and has added a face up game to her repertoire this season. She's another unsigned player to keep an eye on.
