In her time at Elkhorn, Schultz hasn't had to be the main attention grabber for opposing defenses, but due to injuries, that's the role Schultz has this season. The Elk has done well in it thus far. There have been aspects she's had to get used to, like defenses planning what they do around her, but Schultz has made up for any mistakes. She's gotten to the line regularly, paid off those opportunities, and continued to be a guard who gets her teammates involved. The junior will likely be the Southern Lakes Conference assists leaders at the end of the season.

Most attention will go to guards because they have the ball most of the time, take most shots, and have eyes on them more than anyone else. However, everyone at the next level looks for fundamentally sound post players they can trust, and Wolfe is one most should look at if they haven't already. She's physical around the basket, finishes over either shoulder, has some touch outside of the paint, and her teammates seem to love having her around. She's the type of player small schools would love to have in their program. She's a positive kid with a good attitude, which is massive for small-school recruits.

I've pulled up a few Bay Port streams and appreciated what Tebon does in her minutes. The Pirate knows what her team needs from her, which is to space the floor, and she's done that well. Per her wissports stats, she's taken 40 shots in nine games this season, and 38 of them are three-pointers, and she's made 35% of them, which is excellent for a kid who's mainly spotting up and shooting. Seeing kids like her excel in her role, playing off three kids who have most of the time with the ball in their hands, makes her a valuable piece to the Pirates' rotation.

The New Berlin West wing didn't play club basketball last season but has played some of her best basketball for the Vikings to start her senior season. She's pushing a 50/40/90 season and leads West in scoring in the early going. Freisleben is a multi-sport athlete who may play softball at the next level, but from the first dozen games of her senior season, schools should poke their head into some of the streams of games she's played this season. Not many kids can handle the ball and shoot it at the level Freisleben has, with her size at about 6'0.
