[player_tooltip player_id='1135154' first='Kendall' last='Kyani'] was a lightening rod on the floor and seems like she got to every loose ball and every long rebound. Kyani's game is predicated on a combination of speed, quickness and anticipation. Kyani showed good ball handling skills and was also very shifty. She made it hard for a guard to stay in front of her and there were several time she broke the defense down and dished to a teammate for the score. Kyani also got to the rim herself and scored a few easy baskets.

[player_tooltip player_id='400818' first='Kennedi' last='Tatum'] (cover) was very impactful in the matchup versus Gainesville. The Freshman Tatum did an admirable job defending three senior players court on the perimeter. Tatum has nice length and has the ability to move her feet. Offensively, Tatum connected on a three point shot and also earned a clutch three point play on a dribble, drive, and finish through contact. Tatum's poise was evident and impressive. She handled the ball down the stretch and wasn't afraid of the moment.

[player_tooltip player_id='515000' first='Rainah' last='Small'] is another 2028 prospect who played light years ahead of her age. Smalls is an athletic and confident who doesn't shy away from getting the ball in pressure moments. From making clutch free-throws in the final moment to taking it baseline and finishing a crafty and unconventional reverse lay-up, Smalls showed up “Big” against Gainesville. The young guard also made plays in the transition game and on the defensive end. She showed no fear and played well against the Senior guards on Gainesville, and she held her own.

[player_tooltip player_id='1135161' first='Ellie' last='Ament'] had a breakout performance against Creekside. The young Ament knocked down several three-pointers and played with a lot of poise on the floor. She moved the ball well, ran the floor well, and set up teammates for shots. Ament showed some quickness off of the dribble and, and her ability to drive and kick-out was very impressive. Several intangibles showed up with the youngest Ament on the floor that you can't teach. She has a fire and competitive edge and impacts the game in a positive way. Good things happened when she was on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='1035278' first='Presley' last='Brinkley'] was really impressive against Beachside. The scouting report on Brinkley hilighted her three point shooting ability, but her ability to get to the rim in transition was the theme on this night. Several times Brinkley got the steal and took it coast to coast, maneuvering through traffic and finishing at the rim. Brinkley also had a few jumpers that has been her “M.O” to this point in the season. She was also impressive with her playmaking ability. She got to the rim several times and made a dish to a cutting player for the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='514520' first='Anni' last='Ament'] was an another sleeper during the week. With no true center in the lineup, Ament was assigned to play on the inside against Creekside on the defensive end. Creekside has two of the best power forwards in the city (McCoy and Crowley). Ament held her own, pulling down double digits in the rebounds and scoring several threes in the second half. Ament has the ability to play on the inside and out. She showed a lot of quickness to the ball and her quickness enabled her to get a few offensive rebounds and put-backs. Ament almost brought the house down with a drive and spin move in the paint. Her moves and overall performance shows the skillset that Ament has and it was an eye opener to just how talented the Junior forward is.
