The Class 2A State Semifinals tipped off in Jacksonville at the UNF for the first time, bringing some of the state's top talent to a new stage. Several standout prospects took advantage of the moment with strong performances on both ends of the floor. Shot making, playmaking, and defensive intensity were on display as teams battled for a spot in the Class 2A State Championship. In this article, we highlight the players who made the biggest impact and helped lead their teams into the finals:

Gigi powered her team in the second half with 17 points and finished with 23 overall. She brings energy and flair that lifts both her teammates and the crowd. When ECS made runs to close the gap, she answered with timely shots to keep the momentum on Holy Trinity's side.

Jalynn delivered one of her best performances on the biggest stage. The MCDS guard finished with an efficient 27 points while adding four assists and five steals in a dominant all around effort. She played a physical game and was tough to stop as she scored at all three levels by knocking down three threes, hitting the pull up middy, and finishing strong through contact at the rim.

Leila powered Holy Trinity in the first half with 12 points and finished with 18 overall while adding nine rebounds and six assists with a strong 2:1 assist to turnover ratio. She played with great poise and never looked overwhelmed by the moment as she helped secure the win and a spot in the state championship. Her talent is clear, and her mature approach to the game stands out, especially for a freshman.

Kylie was steady throughout the game and finished with 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists without a turnover. One of the best athletes on the floor, she impacted the game with her activity and effort. Her outside shot continues to improve, and she showed nice lift on her jumper and when attacking the glass.

Lena gave everything for her team, playing all 32 minutes and showing incredible effort. The quick and shifty guard ran the offense with 18 points, 4 assists, and 5 steals. She was consistently creating positive opportunities for her teammates. She attacked the rim, got to the right spots, and drew fouls, showcasing toughness and fight against one of the most complete teams in the state.

Nalah got into early foul trouble and played just five minutes in the first half, but she made the most of her time on the floor. She scored 19 points in 19 minutes and grabbed 10 rebounds to finish with a double-double. She also recorded two huge blocks and played with tremendous effort, capping off an incredible career before heading to Brown University next season.

Moriah was efficient on Friday, showcasing the young talent ECS has to offer. She finished with 11 points and 7 rebounds while playing controlled and within her role. Her performance highlights a bright future for both herself and the program, which looks poised to remain a staple at the state tournament.
