Webb Bell-Buckle: The Rising Stars In The State

This past week, I had the opportunity to take in a ball game which showcased Webb Bell-Buckle. I'm going to take the opponent out of the equation, but I wanted to highlight this particular ball club because they are clicking on all cylinders. This club plays the game the right way. They have an inside out game, share the rock, can shoot from the arc at a consistent clip, and turn around and lock up on the defensive end. A couple of other things that I would like to point out was the fact that they played for each other, being selfless when they could easily have gotten the opportunity for themselves.   Now, there are plenty of other clubs out there who are just like this team. I just happened to be in a gym where I could see this ball club play. They played with pace and space, moved the ball side-top-side, played with grit and a sense of urgency. They brought their own energy even when everyone in the gym was against them. This squad is already looking Final 4 bound as the district season starts to come to a close.      She's got to be mentioned as District MVP and a Miss Tennessee nominee. The Ohio State commit plays the game so effortlessly. As you all know, she can score from anywhere on the floor, but it's her confidence to do so that makes her that much more impressive. She can pull up from the arc, hesi to get to the mid-range, contribute on the boards. Super tough get who plays that way on both ends of the floor.     Heady ball player who plays with a motor. Makes the right reads, shoots at a high clip, and will attack the basket. She is coming off an injury and looking better than ever. Her confidence is there, her shot is on time, I mean she is playing with a lot of poise and confidence. This is the best I have ever seen her and it's scary what she is doing to ball clubs. I love her energy and how she has become a student of the game. She sees things that most don't and you can tell that comfort level is just there.     Something special. This kid is the truth and she is going to show you why she is going to be the next best thing to come from this program. She can dominate the interior if she needs to, but it's her ability to stretch the floor and be creative from the arc which is impressive. Displayed a long range game to add to her ability to get in between gaps to finish. She's big on the boards and the defensive end. She's already playing at another level and all she seems to be doing is elevating her game even more. Tough prospect who can name her college of choice.     She may be an 8th grader but she is one of the best around. Plays with speed and more speed, it's hard to tame this kid. She can knock it down from 3, but also put the ball on the floor to get to the rim. She's selfless, but what I love about her game is on the defensive end. She anticipates well. When she is on the ball, she is active, pressuring the ball handler, keeping her in front. She is solid off ball, in a stance, ready to shoot the gap to take the ball the other way. This kid is more than solid and is a beast not only for her age, but the district as well. Keep an eye on this kid because she is just getting started.     Tough kid who is a beast on the interior. She really takes up real estate as she has a nice arsenal of back to the basket moves. A pretty drop step, she brings the physicality to the party. Works smoothly going from block to block and also into the high post area. She's on the boards, locking up the painted area. She too is a youngster, but her presence is already felt on the floor. Solid kid who will continue to grow throughout the years.
