Here are a few 2028's throughout the state of Nebraska that are putting up solid numbers in the efficiency aspects of the game this season so far. If they keep this up, they should continue to post impressive numbers while helping their team's succeed. Both in the here and now, as well as moving into the future.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180573' first='Aspen' last='Billeter'] of Southwest High School has been an impressive freshman on the floor this season for her Varsity program. Billeter seems to be a taller prospect, that moves well for her size and she has a guard like ability compared to anything else. She is someone that competes from the wing position defensively in her team's zone and she eats on that side of the ball in that spot. Offensively, she keeps the ball high on her jump shots from all distances and she understands how to keep it simple over everything else in the process of the game. Idk if Billeter plays AAU but if she does, it'll be interesting to see her against a different level of talent. She possesses a lot of raw ability with a lot of room to grow.

Bloomfield High School has started off this Winter with a 12-6 recording, giving their opponents a close contest in every game they have competed in so far. The main producer and big game hunter from this squad is Freshman, [player_tooltip player_id='1180570' first='Madyson' last='Mlady']. Mlady stands at 6'0 and against her current level of competition, she is killing it. She is averaging a double-double in points-rebounds with some impressive showings. There was even a contest in which she recorded 23 points and 23 rebounds this season. I'm hoping to see Mlady and this team at the State Tournament in a few weeks. If they take care of business and play to their best prospect's strengths, they should have a good shot of making a run to remember.

The role of your team is what you can do best to help your team succeed and [player_tooltip player_id='882864' first='Allie' last='John'] is playing her role right now for Bennington High School. Bennington has kicked off this year with a 15-4 record as they look to make a push into Playoffs. Leading their charge is an impressive group of individuals from all Class levels. At the 2028 level, their main rebounding force is CG/SF, [player_tooltip player_id='882864' first='Allie' last='John']. John is a prospect with height, coordination, touch, and an advanced skill set for her age level. She has proven that she is a three level scoring force over the years and she is only getting better with time. I have a feeling that John is going to have an explosive AAU season with her ETG Midwest [program_tooltip program_id='713325' first='Elite' last=''] 3SSB team. If she plays her game, she should have some college coaches in contact before you know it.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180598' first='Devyn' last='Young'] is averaging nearly 13 PPG and 13 RPG for Hay Springs as they sit at 10-7 going into the weekend. Young is a player out of the 2028 Class with better size than most at 6'0. Within her conference, Young has the natural advantage of her size and that's been obvious throughout their first 17 games. She is sitting in second place in PPG on the season, while being first in RPG. This is only the beginning for Hay Springs and a player like this. If they continue to stack their days, I'm sure they will continue to see success moving forward.

When we have mentioned Bellevue West this season, we haven't really talked about [player_tooltip player_id='884234' first='Da'Nyla' last='Tatum'] and the season she is putting together as a whole. This is someone that is going to be a leader at Bellevue West for the next handful of years on both sides of the ball. Up until high school, Tatum demonstrated that she was a walking bucket compared to most. I'm happy to see that at the Varsity level, she is reassuring us of that as she is putting up over 11 PPG this Winter on 36% shooting currently. This is also a guard that is skilled in the aspects of passing, creating, and helping the others around her. If she can keep those things up, her stock will continue to rise as we move into the Spring.
