[player_tooltip player_id='400785' first='Audrey' last='Beyer'] was an early standout in the District tournament and hit a milestone in the process. The Junior baller eclipsed 1000 points in just her Junior season. Beyer handled business on the floor, draining several threes against in the District Semifinals. She also got to the rim and freethrow line. Beyer is a bonafide scorer. She knows how to draw fouls which leads to easy points. Beyer and team will advance to the District finals, and one thing is for sure - The “one thousand point” shooting guard will be letting it fly, getting to the rim, and getting to the charity line.

[player_tooltip player_id='495953' first='Jiyah' last='Hamilton'] was a force in the District semifinals and was impressive on multiple levels. On offense she ran the point guard position and was excellent at distributing the ball to her teammates, in particular her wing player Mccoy and cutter Wess. Scoring - Hamilton proved she could score in multiple ways. She started the game off with drives to the rim and had some nice runners in the lane. Hamilton got into the paint and was able to score or get to the freethrow line throughout the game. Hamilton connected on the pull-up midrange and down the stretch connected on a clutch three pointer on the floor. The point guard was impressive in the transition game and displayed great court vision. Her vertical passing game was on point and she torched the defense with a few long passes for layups. Hamilton also filled the lanes in transition and had a few clutch layups down the stretch. The opposing student body was heckling Hamilton in a fun way and each time they did it fueled her with confidence. By the end of the game they were nearly applauding her performance. Hamilton was a standout and it's a game college coaches will want to watch.

[player_tooltip player_id='752581' first='Alyssa' last='Donohue'] was a beast and her performance made a statement. She is a clutch performer who can score in multiple ways on the basketball court. Donohue got to the rim and finished with the smooth left hand often. Her ability to maneuver in the paint and shoot it softly around the rim was impressive. In the semifinals, Donohue shot the midrange shot and showed she could knock down the three point shot. In transition, she was at her best. Her ability to get down the floor, fill the lanes, make the catch, and convert the layup was exceptional. Down the stretch with the game on the line, her performance was clutch. Her timely cuts to the rim for scores in the pressure moments showed a lot about the shooting guard. She has grit and skills. Don't sleep on the defense, she was impressive on the perimeter guarding some shifty and speedy guards, and her shot blocking abilities didn't go unnoticed. She prevented some easy shots and one came in the final moments with the game on the line. Donohue showed the skills and her performance will be remembered for awhile.

[player_tooltip player_id='514624' first='Miranda' last='Campos'] was started the game off with a bang and finished in the same manner. Early one, it was clear that she have her team a decisive advantage in the front court. Campos was a force on the boards and the battle between Campos and West was a good one. Two forwards fighting for every ball and giving their team a chance to win. Down the stretch, Campos prevailed with several buckets in the 4th to tie the game or put her team up by a few points. She also rebounded well down the stretch. Campos showed the skills and athleticism that set her apart from many players. She has the ability to dominate in the paint, especially on offensive put-backs.

[player_tooltip player_id='929039' first='Janaina' last='Wess'] (cover photo) was the most energetic and exciting players to watching a basketball court. Her hustle and effort along caught my attention. Wess has speed, quickness, athleticism, and a motor that won't stop. She impacts a lot of games with her effort and skillset. She leads her team in rebounds, steals, and blocked shots. She probably leads the district in saves and back -taps as well. In the District Semifinals, Wess was all over the boards in the offensive and defensive ends of the floor. Her ability to get to track the ball and get to it before anyone else was amazing. Her transition defense was equally amazing. Wess has the ability to dive for a ball, fall down, get back up, and chase chase the opponent down, and get back in front of the opponent to play defense. In addition to this type of effort, Wess can score the ball. She can get the rim in transition and take a defender off the dribble. She also did a good job of making timely cuts to the basket, receiving the pass, and scoring. The battle between Wess and Campos was epic and Wess definitely left a lasting impression.
